I haven't had today's prompt via email yet, and there isn't a new one on the site yet either.

Thanks Lis
Oh...I forgot there should be another one today! Haven't received any emails yet.
Oooh - what's Lightroom?
I've been alternating between Photoshop at work and Elements at home. I actually couldn't get the actions to run in Photoshop, but I think it's cos I've got a really old version of PS. I just went to the instructions and did it manually.
Prompt 3 is up on the forum and my email arrived after lunch. Hope you all have access now. :)
Had a read through of todays prompt - cant wait to get writing - might even consider a trip to the local library.....
Nope - no access yet . I'm getting jealous of all the downloady type things you girls have access to - but at least I am still getting the e-mails.
Finally had some sunny weather today so I went out on a photoshoot this afternoon.
I had forgotten about today's prompt until this evening. I know my library has local history books so I am going to to go there tomorrow.
Oooh - just realised there's a UKS thread for this. Yes, I've signed up but haven't had the opportunity to get out yet to take photos. Hopefully I will on Monday when DS is at pre-school!!
I did promise myself no new classes until I'd completely finished Shimelle's My Freedom, but this REALLY appealed to me and is me down to a "T" (and I've only two more LO's to go!)
Have done most of my journalling notes from today's prompt though.
Adobe Lightroom is a professional standard photo processing program. We shoot everything in RAW, then process through LR. I then scrap with PSE. PSE is capable of processing RAWs, amazingly, but LR is SO much more flexible and there are so many wonderful development presets out there (I have about 100 and every single one was free), which are a bit like actions but you can totally custom tweak each photo, which you can't do easily with actions (and not at all in PSE). If you take a look at this LO, I used a very mediocre point-and-click camera photo and reprocessed it in LR with a preset and got this effect.

LR is not necessary for an at home basis - but I LOVE IT and wouldn't be without it now. I've decided to forego "upgrading" to full blown Photoshop in favour of LR & PSE.
Of course, all this really means is that I end up spending 3 times as long playing with my photos rather than actually scrapping them!
What size album is everyone planning to use?
I tend to suffer from verbal diarrhea (as you can see from the above post!) so I'm worried anything smaller than 8x8 will just not work for me. I did 8x8 for Journal your Christmas and frankly I could have done bigger - and I only used about 15 photos in the entire album!
Planning on 6x6 although wondering if it should be a little bigger....??
I was going to use an A4 album I've had for ages but settled on 7x7. Have earmarked the A4 album for a longer photographic project I'm planning.
