Thanks for the lovely comments ladies.
SilverTiger that puppy card is just so cute, another lovely image.
Ali, I love that gold card and would love to know what paper that is. Your airship card would count for this weeks card as I think navy is one of the prompts - if you wanted to cheat a bit that is.:)
Thanks Susie - it is DCVW, from the Taj Mahal stack. It is all really thick paper, with a shiny surface - more like cardstock, definitely.
Trish - the airship is a stamp - the set is Stampin Up! moving forward, I think it is in this year's catalogue - ah, but they've just brought out a new one, so it would be last year's now.
Much as I would love to take a few shortcuts, Susie - hopefully I will see my way clear to make a card for each week's challenges, fingers crossed! :D
After a week in bed - now playing catch up again. This is No 17 ( I think!)
What beautiful cards- I love all the pockets. The jar pocket is just fab.
Beautiful card, Soojay, the little cherubs reminded me of the 'scraps' I used to collect as a child.
Very Victorian in a way, Sue - I think I spy some Anna Griffin! :D
I've commented on gallery posts - fab cards folks!
And for those who've attached their cards...
SilverTiger - that little doggie is so very sweet! :)
Soojay - I love your interpretation of the pocket sketch, great to see what was hiding in that lovely pocket too. :D
Ali - I love your resolve to do a separate card for each of the prompts, well done!
I must confess I am struggling a bit this week. I've made the main one, but wasn't too happy with it considering the time I spent faffing over it, and I still need to make my Christmas card, but I think this week will be a rerun of last where I am over at my mum and dad's almost every evening as their kitchen rebuild is coming to an end (final inspection today) and I am being called back in to now help choose the colours for the walls and of course Sunday is our Ikea trip for all the organizational boxes for drawers and pantry, etc. Plus I need to help my mum go through all the old contents of the kitchen and help her decide what's to chuck or keep.
It'll all be worth it in the end, but it will mean I won't get much crafting time until all that's done! ;)
You will be like the rest of us, Nat - playing catchup! :P
LOL Yes! It looks like it! ^_^
Take Care Nat ((hug))
Week 19 - Navy, stitching, vellum.
Navy card stock, square aperture, insert of backing paper with a nautical theme, faux stitiching round the edge using a scorebug and a silver pen. The rope frame, seahorses, starfish and yacht are cut from white vellum, tinted using polychromos pencils and duted with holographic glitter.
Really like the nautical theme Silver Tiger! :D
<~~~ playing catch up too (head in books!) managed two here is one!

Soojay - love the pocket card, very pretty.
Silver Tiger - love how you have made the vellum all sparkly, it looks great against the navy background.
SarahK - great inksplats! Love it!
Here's my week 19 card. Do visit my blog for details on where to purchase the invisible thread I used for the stitching on my card ;-)
