I love all of it..the butterflies are very unusual!
I won't do them for my MIL..she doesn't appreciate the effort so she gets a bought one <_<
Gorgeous card Jayne x
Lovely card Jayne, those butterflies are gorgeous.
Ellie.
Lovely card Jayne love the butterflies. Elaine I dont make cards for my mum she doesnt appreciate them either so she gets bought ones too!!!
Lovely cards Susie! :)
Jayne, love the edging on your butterfly card, such a lovely card - also really happy you found the prompts inspiring. :)
Here's another I made using black, white and hearts. This card is for Jolene here on UKS who got engaged a couple of weeks ago. Attachment 191470
I the first to admit I'm not a great cardmaker so don't look too closely! Lol

And here's another..black, white and geometric patterns
Nice cards Elaine. Lovely colours, and I like how you have done the
swirly pattern down the side on the second one.
Ellie.
They are both really lovely cards Elaine. Such pretty flowers on the first one and I love your embossing on the second card, I also like the way you've broken up the swirly flourish at the side.
Lovely cards Elaine, especially like the engagement card - congratulations to jolene x
Thanks for the lovely comments ^_^
The die cut borders are from a Spellbinders card creator set S5-181 and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the butterflies were a set that came with my TODO and it was my first attempt at hot foiling with it ^_^
Elaine - beautiful cards you definitely shouldn't send such creations to an ungrateful MIL ;)
Oh Jayne I could kill you… I've just been on to WOC and ordered flowers, so many pretty ones. I haven't even got round to check out the Spellbinders border set yet. Your first attempt at hot foiling went perfectly I'd say.
I'm making hybrid Mother's Day cards for speed as I still have a few more birthday cards to make.
As I mentioned a hybrid card. I found this pretty corner flourish and made it into a frame and added a few vellum flowers to finish it off.

Those are gorgeous Elaine, I especially love the paper and grey tones of the engagement card - lush!
Susie the floral accents on your card are super pretty, so full of spring freshness! :)
I finally sat down to make my Christmas card for the Feb prompt - in the end I was most inspired by the different green tones and instead of holly and mistletoe, boughs of pine won out in the end!

I can't take any credit for the technique or style of this card, it was all down to a video I had saved on Youtube by the owner of WPlus9 that I had been waiting to try out once I finally had my gansai tambi paints. All details are on my blog - really love the finished effect of the technique and will definitely have to give it a try with some other stamps too.
