That's okay Ellie, that's what you have me for!
I know, where would I be without you !
Ellie
That goes both ways Ellie.
:thanks:
FYI, The background paper on my card is from a 6x6 pad I've had for ages MME Moments.
Ladies, we'd be lost here without you two keeping the chat going !
Lol..so true Alison, I disappear for a couple of days and I'm about four pages behind!
Some really wonderful cards..love the 60th one Alison...and the High Tea one of course Ellie ^_^
I have the WRMK stamp positioned but I'm not very familiar with it yet. It's quite good though.
I have a few (!) embossing folders but rarely use them..I'm happy to do some though once the die swap is over..which reminds me I must post yours tomorrow. I didn't go out today after all.
I'm gonna take that as a compliment Alison!:lol:
Goes to show how handy it is to have little pads of paper around and how you can come back to them at a (in my case) much later date.
Let me know how the stamp positioner works Elaine, I was only looking at that the other day after the talk about stamping. YouTube video said that one had a sturdy top but weak base but I saw one on the TV and the base looked quite thick to me, so maybe they've changed it. I think if I had something like that I would love to stamp but as it is I tend to print and then die cut my sentiments. I'll have to show you my boxes of stamps, even I'm not sure where they all came from.
By the way ladies, you are all included in our  moment. I think we have a great group on here, thanks Nat!:thanks:
Morning all.
I'm thinking about a WRMK Stamp Positioner as well.
Well said Susie. Yes, I think we are all good chatters on here,
and I certainly wouldn't make as many cards, if it wasn't for Nats prompts.
Thank you all....
Ellie
Awww..... Group hug back!
I like it..it doesn't seem flimsy to me. I need to really have a go with it to get the best of it but I just don't have time at the moment. Still working on the garden and the contractors are back working on the front now..so I have several weeks left of garden planning and working yet.
Yes it is def a chatty friendly little group
I have a lot to say too but will dash off now as it's stopped rainy it's been showered today quite heavy and now it's carrot time so can slip in between the showers the donkeys just don't understand that all donkeys don't get carrots well I think the oldest of the donkeys granny does she was very much a working donkey her DD was too on a cart from an early age and not trusting of humans who can blame her the youngest two that where born here with me just obviously had the life of Riley so very spoilt and if carrots aren't there at 2 30 prompt they be such a big bray
That's all for now see long post!!!bbl
The lady wants two more cards one for a hairdresser and one for the dentist but she printed something from internet I can use so maybe cant fit blue in we'll see
I was
I think it is amazing all the work you put into your animals Denise. I know from our rescue how hard they work and just remembering which meds have to be given to which dogs and when, is a job in itself. What would they do without you - keep up the wonderful work. Love the idea of them kicking up a fuss if the carrots are late.x
Dogs were walked mostly in the dry today but just before it started raining, so one had a nice dry walk and the other came home wet. I wonder if he thinks he's being punished for something - who knows what goes on in their heads. The only time any of our dogs have liked getting wet is in the sea, for some reason that is totally different.
Morning
I made the two cards last night but used the print puts from the computer the lady brought me and couldn't match to blue with my pp
Wet donkeys are very much like wet dogs Susie but don't walk all over kitchen floor though I do in muddy boots I that to wash today
I have your birthdays apart from Nat if you want to join in we need to know the date if your birthday we each in turn make one card for the person birthday after our own from all of us as a group so it only one card a year to make signed from us all
The horses are a bit like that . They are having hay at the moment as the grass is almost non existent but Cookie gets more as he's faster at eating and the boss so when he finishes his pile he moves on to the next and pushes the other ponies out, they definitely have a pecking order and he's at the top !
Well done on two more cards
Will you send us the list Denise of who send to who ?
I love this group :)
With the dogs we also have one who eats faster than the other and drinks faster too, but there is no pushing out of the way, you soon hear the warning if one tries to steal the other's dinner. Different when we had cats though, the young one always ate quickly and would knock our older cat out of the way and he'd let him - unless - there was chicken and the young one soon got put in his place then. They all have their own rules!:)
There's no doubt about who's boss between DDs dogs.
Gus wins hands down, and Archie lets him !!
Here's a blue card. Pinched the star idea from Alison :)
Ellie
Love it Ellie, stars are great for male cards, instead of butterflies and flowers :)
Thanks Alison. Not exactly navy blue, but a blue never the less :)
Ellie
That's a great card Ellie, the music background and the stars go so well together. I love the 'love' on the big star too.
That's a lovely male card Ellie I like the musical note too is it pp or stamped
Thank you Denise.
The background is embossed and then inked.
Ellie
Another male one. I really must start making prettier cards, but we have
so many males in our family.
Ellie
And another great card Ellie, you are really on a roll. Mine are all mostly printed at the moment because I am quicker at that but I do need to make a female birthday very soon. Are the little sentiments Kaisercraft by any chance?:)
Of course, you caught me out.
Ellie
I love the embossed and ink look
Well you may as well take advantage of the blue month and get all your male cards done Ellie I like the last one too
I did this one guess who for Emma :lol:after I uploaded didnt like the edge of the washi and ribbon it looked messy didnt notice till I saw that close up so lined it up with the top one now snipped a bit off Attachment 195349
I got the idea of the gift parcel from Alison thank you for that forgotten I had this die cut
Very nice card Denise.
Parcels look very well, and I like the butterflies across the card.
Ellie
Pretty card Denise and those butterflies are lovely and I've got my eye on the grosgrain ribbon. I love grosgrain but especially dotty grosgrain ribbon, really pretty.
Morning chatters.
Lovely cards Ellie and Denise. I'm very lacking in the card making department this month. I made the one blue one and forgot to photograph it but that's it!
Your second batch of die cuts arrived Susie and yours Denise. You are both so very generous. Thank you!
Sunshine here today..off to walk mine shortly but first I have a scrapbook layout rattling around in my head so I'll do that first then go. My dogs have a pecking order too..Bella (the oldest and largest) is the boss. Digby finishes his food first but never shies the others off theirs.. He waits until they've finished then snuffles all round their bowls to see if they've missed anything..as if! They all then do the same with the others bowls..it's so funny.
Here's another blue nautical one.
Ellie
Isn't it frustrating when you forget to take a phot of your masterpiece elaine, shame we have to give the cards away :)
Ellie, another lovely card, you're getting into the swing of it now. Now DH's birthday has arrived I can leisurely decide what I want to do now, although I do still want to do a few more pages for his album. Can't think of anymore cards that need doing at the moment, i might get back to doing some Christmas ones
Elaine, ours are the same, an empty bowl is up for grabs and must be checked out, but the bitches are always the boss, which to my mind is how it should be IRL! I know at the rescue there is always one bitch who rules the others, especially the males, with an iron paw. Even when we had two before, one male and female, the female was tiny but boy did she boss the other one around, at least in the house. Outside, if another dog went for her she took it that they didn't mean it and that they only wanted to play, but the big boy would step in and chase them off. We used to call her Scarlett as in Scarlett O'Hara because she had such a long coat and she flounced. I'll have to dig out the photo's.
Love the nautical theme Ellie, beautiful card but could you slow down as you are putting the rest of us to shame, well, me anyway!
 I will try Susie.
Elaine , I don't think your garden is small it's a good size. I wish that mine
was bigger.
Lovely views BTW.
Ellie
That is a lovely card Ellie like the scalloped edge :D
A card with blue on.
Ellie
Thats lovely Ellie you on a roll is it punched out and can see pp behind tell us more
Denise, it's an embossing folder that also die cuts.
I layered it onto patterned silver card.
Ellie
Thats really pretty nice effect
Another lovely card Ellie, you really are on a roll, lucky you. Mind you, lucky us too, because we get to see them.:)
Thank you Susie.
Ellie.
