I think this counts as geometric. I’m posting it anyway :)
The word stamping looks as if I’ve double stamped it, but I haven’t.
That’s the way the stamp is.

Love that Ellie, very modern and I love your papers too! Who is it for? Fantastic stamping, is that with precision press?
Yes ,it’s entirely down to the precision tool, Susie:lol:
It’s not for anyone, just made it for the challenge.
The backing paper was a scrap I had lurking about
Ellie
It has stamped perfectly, or should I say you have stamped it perfectly. It is such a lovely modern design and I struggle with that. I love that you've used up scrap paper too, I have so much of it.
Thank you.
Ellie
Fab card Ellie.
I had another friend who has become a Nanny this week..so my third baby boy card of the week!
tHATS A REALLY MODERN LOOK eLLIE sorry didnt mean to shout
I love yours too Elaine really like those stitched squares well stitched anything with the stitches
Great card Elaine, lovely blue, and the stitched squares, fab.
Ellie
Fabulous card Elaine and another boy how handy. I love those stitched squares too!
Ellie, that is a lovely card, the musical design stamp is fab !
Elaine, another lovely baby card, we’re desperate for baby boys here, everyone keeps having girls ! Those stitched squares are great for a quick card, I think I’m going to have to have some. I shall check whether my friend here has some first, if she doesn’t they are going on my shopping list :)
If the sponsors don't have them Alison, they have a full set in TW for £6.
I have just been asking the sponsors for an acrylic block for stamping 8"x3" minimum, but no luck. Scrapmate came up with a great idea which I'd sort of thought of, she suggested using a plate off a cutting machine. I'd already tried the lid of my WRMK precision press which worked fine but today I tried the plate of the Spellbinders Platinum because I got two sizes of plates and I only use the A4, if I am cutting small I often get my CB out instead. Anyway, it worked fine, a bit on the thin side, rather like the Tim Holtz ones but it will do for now until I can find something thicker. It would be tricky if I had long nails but I tend to cut them short because they grow so quickly.
I have my UK friend on high alert she on the look out for stitching dies but I may have said to look in the wrong place she often goes in the range or the works what's TW?
It's the shop you've just mentioned Denise.:)
oh silly meeeeeeee:wub:
Right I going to do some crafting now (I hope)
A basic card from me..squares and hexagons Attachment 197327
Oh pretty Elaine and I love that flower stamp, what a perfect touch with the pearl in the centre.
Lovely Elaine.
It’s funny ,I was just looking at the stitched Squares you sent me, and
wondering how to make them work on a card!
You have now done it, with hexagons too , and pearls
Ellie
More stitched squares on the way to you too Ellie!:)
Maybe Susie, I’m working on it :)
Ellie
I mean your package went in the post today, square, circles and what have you.:) Should be there for Monday.
OH THank you, in advance. Looking forward to seeing them
Ellie
Don't look forward to seeing them too much as he brought them back again. The post office is usually open until 5.30pm every day, but hubby reckons they were closing when he got there and he went out about 4pm. Sorry Ellie but it will go Monday. I'd stick a few stamps on but I wouldn't want you to get stung for postage, best to get it weighed. Sorry.:(
My friend was in town and picked up the TW set of stitched square dies for me, better make some more cards now !!
Another friend made some cards today using a pinked edge square punch she found in my box, didn’t even know I had it ! (Must have been one of mums). It made a nice variation on plain edge squares
That’s ok Susie, don’t worry about it. I will get them when they come :)
That sounds interesting Alison. The more variation the better ,I say.
Ellie
They have a nice set of circle stitched too Alison, if you don't already have them. I could cut you some if you want to see them first.
Ooh , thankyou Susie, not sure what I’d do with the circles so a little try before buying would be nice :)
love your card Elaine its simple but effective I like the pearl too it finishes it off nicely
I'll do them today Alison and then they can go in the post with Ellie's. Right, got them out ready to go.:)
A card with geometric shapes.

That is just lovely Ellie, such a fun card with the smilie face.
I have found out why the post office was closing early yesterday - because hubby went to the wrong one. The one we normally go to is in Allerton and he went to Penny Lane, so no excuses tomorrow, mind you, I'll probably be going out with him. As they say, if you want a job doing, do it yourself!
That’s my philosophy Susie
Although DH is good at doing most things.
Ellie
Mine is too when he puts his mind to things. :)
Evening..great card Ellie. Love the happy camera.
Here's another quickie from me using rectangles and a circle. A card for a friend that I met for afternoon tea on her birthday
That's very pretty Elaine, I love the way you've cut the paper into strips. It's such a gentle green and beautiful pinks. Was the Happy Day sentiment part of the embellishments or did you stamp it? If you stamped it which white ink pad did you use please?
No sorry Susie. It was printed
Lovely card Elaine. Nice , pretty papers. :)
Ellie
lovely cards ladies
Sorry! Not to be.
They are Kaisercraft High Tea from the 6” paper pad
Oh, I know what they are Elaine, don't be trying to enable me!
