It has inspired my first attempt at a baby card
Hope you all like it
I was asked to make a pirate card for somebody. Used parchment paper to make a 'scroll' type thing, drew an island, painted with metallic paints and added a 'bitty' pirate. Found a pirate font so the inside verse is done with that :)
Very cute pirate card, Kitty! I bet the little boy was made up with that.
I bought a few die cuts from ebay last week and had a bit of a play over the weekend. Here are some baby cards I came up with.
Here's my Big bird from the cricut!!! it's the goose on Animal kingdom cartridge.
I don't often do 'traditional'... but these are for order, so probably more fitting, besides, the new mum is traditional. TFL.
Some in my more natural style!

I'm so sorry it's so big, i have tried to reduce it and just put a thumbnail of it but don't know how. Sorry again
My first post in the cardmaking section. :) Letters are hand cut and chalked round the edges, as are the scallops on the mat. The mat and the letters have a shimmer chalk over them which doesn't show in the pic but really lifts them. I used wee rhinestones on the first L but the sparkle doesn't really show on the photo.
Shona :)

I love making these cards all hand cut as usual
I would like to show this teddybear birthday card for my friends little grandson
As I've just completed my first upload (in the July challenge) I thought I'd give it another go and share these birthday cards with you. I'm still fairly new to cardmaking, although I have always been interested crafts. I used to embroider quite a lot but my eyesight is not what it was and it gets to be quite a strain after a hard day at the office in front of the dreaded computer!
Anyway, to get back to the point here are a couple of children's cards I have made.
Lovely to see more cards, well done ladies, they're fab!!
Here's a card suitable for a Tweenie :P
