Welcome to UKS Ness72! xxx
A couple more male birthday cards HERE xxx
Love the colours in your gorgeous card Tracy:)
Welcome Ness72 :)
Thank you all for your kind welcome. I'll be sure to put some of my creations on soon, although, like all crafters, I doubt my own creative abilities. I always have trouble getting ideas for Masculine Cards, and the creations here are just gorgeous, so it might get my creative juices flowing. Thanks :)
Hi all, a birthday card I made for my Dad. :)
Love your card Tracey (in fact I love all your work!). How did you cut out the hubby - I can't tell from the pic if its actually cut out of the front of the card or are my eyes deceiving me?
Barb x
Great card Sam!
Thanks Barb, yes 'Hubby' is cut out of the front of the card, i cut it with the Cricut using the design studio.
Thanks for the reply Tracey - you are so clever!! I have the SCAL programme but havn't really got to grips with it yet. Can you do this type of card on that? and is there anywhere I could get a quick tutorial? Thanks for your help.
Barb x
I don't have SCAL, but i'm sure it can be done. Have you asked for help on the SCAL social group?
No that's a great idea thanks Tracey

More fabby cards ladies, I find it awkward doing cards for men, I never seem to find the right subject, but I have come across some sheets called 'flippin men' that look fun to do, might give them a go

DH birthday card - let's see if I can get this to work.http://http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...P1020833-2.jpg
I made this card for a work colleagues son whose birthday is tomorrow, unfortunately I design and craft a lot using the cricut and design studio, I never had a cut file for what she wanted so I asked my friend from over the pond to design me the cut file, which she was happy to do. Thank you JenC for your amazing cut file and for taking the time to design it for me, I think the young man for whom it's for will love it, again thank you.
The cut file is designed using 'George and Basic Shapes' now if you would like this cut file you will need to visit JenC's blog and request it.
I added the finishing touches from the photo Jen sent me for which she designed the cut file on. The Happy Birthday was made using Pooh font, which gives it a great touch.

I always find masculine cards difficult to make.
Here is one I made for my nephew : a 3D image and some embroidery.
Hello everyone. Not posted in here before but thought you might like to see a card I made for my brother. We're both of a certain age now, but its never stopped us teasing each other. HERE
Hi, just wanetd to add this card. It is for my brother who races F2 sidecars as a hobby. I absolutely love this paper from Bo Bunny, I NEED to get some more now to make some scrapbook pages of his racing.
hello:) i don't often make cards and rarely make them for men but with my dads birthday coming up i thought i'd better make an effort! here it is. i stamped the image onto vellum, embossed it with white embossing powder, coloured in various bits on the back:)
That is a lovely card! I am the same ... but I go a step further and try and avoid making men's cards at all costs
However ... I have just made this!

awww...that is totally gorgeous Linda:)
Hi fellow crafters! Never posted on this part of UKS before, I tend to lurk in the Craft Robo section but have sometimes popped in to see what you are all making.
Anyway thought I would post this card I've just made as, like most people I find inspiration for cards for men difficult. Made this mainly with my Robo but if you have other machines or you are good at cutting out it may be useful as an idea. The recipient is a HGV driver so he has lots of gears!!
Love the cogs!
Here's my effort at a Male card - I just struggle so simple is best for me! It's for a guy who does Monster Truck racing!
Any other cards are a breeze to make in comparison ... but here are a few of my latest efforts in the man card department. :D

I have just made a Father's Day Card here
This is the birthday card I have made for my DS2 for his 16th birthday.
The car is decoupaged.

Heather, maybe something like this? Obviously with Happy Birthday and Son. It's very simple but it was for a man.

wow, Tracey, that is fab! did you have a die for it or make it from scratch?
Thanks Heather, I cut the laptop on my Cricut, would you like me to cut you one?
that would be fab, thank you very much.:)
What do you think of this one then? A real man or what?
More details on my blog. I have to do this or I forget.

Thanks. Was looking for inspiration for nephews 21st birthday card and think I will work on the cut out circles idea. That's brilliant. Thanks.
Here's a manly card i've made on my Cricut. I think it's obvious who it's for and what he enjoys doing. :)
