Okay, not much but here it is. I think the flowers in the centre count as plastic, they're a rub-on. Well, they feel plasticy (if that's a word).

Oh that diecut is lovely! You don't have to use all the prompts, you can use one, two or all three, just pick which ones are helpful to you :)
When i made the card for tomorrow I almost forgot one of the three elements so quickly added it and I am not happy with it, I should listen to my own 'rules':lol:
Thanks Ang, I think it was a Marianne die. I keep meaning to ask you if there is a tutorial for those beautiful handmade flowers? They're all lovely but the pink gingham one is my favourite.
Hi Susie, I must keep my eye out for it!
I swear to goodness the pink flower took all of a couple of minutes to make as I had my hot glue gun on and the pieces already die cut.
When i made my first couple I used Wendi Vecci tutorial here. Now I can remember it without having to refer to it. I use the Sizzix Flower Layers #5 die, but the flower which you can find on the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die is also a good one! I also like to add in a couple of extra petals, it's so fun to play with them. If you don't have either die I can send you some diecuts from white card so you can colour them yourself and have a go, just let me know!

Hello All,
This week's challenge is up here
Here's mine
http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5061/...2f65ac9efe.jpg
Here's mine for week 18. I used Basic Grey lemonade, with yellow card stock, & plastic flowers.
http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...rd_week18a.jpg
That's such a pretty card.
Here's a simple little card using the green prompt. I could have put Get Well but decided to go with Just To Say, then I can use it for most occasions. I am trying out my MS punches and I really like this one. It actually looks better IRL - but then I would say that wouldn't I!

lovely card Phil, I do like the lemonade papers, so summery.
Suzie, you should share your card on the Daring Cardmakers, it fits their challenge perfectly :)
I see what you mean Ang about it being suitable for their challenge, just can't figure out how to upload the photo. Any tips would be welcome.
Great cards everyone. Here is mine for this week. The stamped flower is embossed.

gorgeous gorgeous cards! love the sewing machine one - think it was Nat's.
i've had a little catch up today, pics tomorrow. think i have just one left to do, the red, tools one. just had a peek to see who tried that one but can only see the sewing machine.
loving this challenge and love all your cards.
This week it was Green, Embossing and Get Well.
The paper I used was Rouge De Garance, Sweet Dreams, leaves and circle were cut on the Grand Calibur then embossed.

All your cards are lovely!!!
thank you, means so much to my confidence in cardmaking.
here is another catch up from wk 18.
changed the yellow for pink because this card was needed!!! lol. hence the delay in making it.
feel a little bit of a fraud with this one though as it's a design i've been doing since i started making cards 3/4yrs ago. I started making them but to be honest i'm a little bored of the design, however, my recipients disagree and when i tried to discontinue it i got cries of 'No!!!'
this is for a lovely friend who has a blue version too :D
I think it's lovely Lilli and I've just left you a message. You may get fed up making it but remember it's not the sort of card people receive by the minute.
I'm just doing a baby card in pink hoping that will be the colour prompt this week. Actually, I'm using up scraps at the moment or trying to.
I think most of us need a boost in confidence from time to time, well I know I certainly do. Maybe we are all bit too critical of our own work - I can find fault in everything I do - drives my husband nuts.
lovely cards not played for a while hope to again soon
Hi Ladies,
I am afraid that it is with a heavy heart that I can no longer continue with the 52 Cards Challenge. I have posted an announcement on my blog.
Thank you all so much for embracing it and it has been a real joy to see so many beautiful cards.
Ang x
oh no! Ang, this challenge has been so good for me, not only to make some cards myself but to enjoy joining in with so many talented crafters here. thank you for all the time you have invested.
Oh Ang, this is so sad. I've loved this because it was fun waiting to see the prompts and your beautiful cards but also because there wasn't too much pressure to keep up. It actually made it more fun and on the weeks I couldn't join in I enjoyed looking to see what everyone else made.
There have been so many inspirational cards on here but life does tend to get in the way of crafting which I for one can fully understand.
Thank you so much for everything you've done.
Haven't been taking part for long but have enjoyed the last few months. Thanks for all you have done.
Sorry your not carrying on Ang. So looked forward to mondays and the prompts, but will still keep making cards and putting them on my gallery. Thanks for all your time.
Thank you ladies :)
If anyone would like to take over I can email you the prompts, just let me know!
Ang
I would love to take this on Ang but I have enough problems just trying to join in when I can and I know for a fact I can't do it every week. Unless there is some way of splitting the prompts so we each have a few to deal with. Mind you, I don't have a blog either but could post to here. Let's see if anyone can take it on and if not perhaps we could do it as I've suggested.
Failing that, what if we post a card to this thread and see if anyone wants to simply join in.
Meanwhile, I've posted this card I made from scraps basically. I feel very virtuous using up bits and pieces. I was hoping this weeks prompts might have pink, ribbon, punches or glitter in there somewhere.

Oh that's a shame Ang... I would love to see this challenge continue in one form or another, since we stopped the monthly card challenge I've not seen as many people joining in on the card forum and sharing their projects, and this was a lovely non-stress weekly inspiration where folks could join in if they had time or wait until the next week. :)
I'd be happy to post the prompts on my blog every Monday (well with typepad post scheduler at the resuce...), not sure I could provide a card example every week but would do my best. ^_^
So sorry you are unable to carry on Ang but life takes over at times and you have to go with the flow. Thanks for all your prompts so far, I've only missed one or two weeks but haven't been able to post any photos coz I couldn't find any of my two cameras and wasn't about to go out and buy a third. Anyway would you believe I found both cameras in a big tidy up at the weekend and have started taking photos of the challenge cards as I find them. I will try and get organised and post them up soon. I don't have a blog so can't help with future prompting I'm afraid.
Thanks Ang for all your hard work I took part in the beginning more but got busy too but it's a great challenge would be sorry if it didnt continue as a good one to pop in and out of have loved meeting new cardmakers and found all the examples so inspirational
would be great if natty could take over posting prompts on here dont worry about examples maybe I could help with that as would love to see the thread continue
Excellent, fingers crossed we'll all keep playing along and getting those cards made. :)
I'd forgotten about this, sorry :( But now that I've found you all again :) I'll join in ! If thats ok ?
Sure it's OK Cal - the more the merrier.
And just to let everyone who's looking for a little challenge this week know, I've just posted a prompt for this week on my blog. Now I just need to find a little time before next Monday to get my card made. ;)
thankyou for taking it over Nat! looking forward to making some more cards :D
Thank you Nat.
Thanks for taking this over Nat. Will try and do this week's challenge but there is a lot of LIFE going on for me too just now. I go on holiday on 28th for 2 weeks so if I don't manage to join in before I go, I will see you all when i get back.
Well, I'm hoping this weekend will be a more productive one for me. Seems like ages since I had a craft moment over the weekend. No doubt if I plan to spend time indoors the weather will be glorious, unlike last weekend! ^_^
I'm so pleased you're taking this on Nat. Mind you, I haven't made anything yet! The weather changed again from rain to sun so time for a bit of gardening but I've managed to pull a few muscles in the process (it doesn't take much)so that's my excuse to stop and think about cards.
Here's mine for week 20. The paper I used was Echo Park Springtime.
Ovals cut on Grand Calibur, stamp coloured with Copic markers.
