Made with V5.10 and converted
Made this quickly to replace the original picture as I used silver mirricard and it's hard to get a clear pic because of the reflection.
Add ribbon or cord (to hang it up) before glueing the last piece
Replaced with a two tone picture so it is easier to see.
Hope someone can use this. http://www.fam-bjork.se/monicas-hobb...nta_smiley.gif

Maybe a little late for christmas!
You need to cut two parts of the same pattern but in different colour to make these. I found out that thinner paper is the best to use for this. To make the hearts in the picture I used 120g paper. When I tried thicker paper it was to hard to weave them together. They are quite easier to weave if making them bigger than i did. Look on goggle "woven heart" for instructions on how to weave them together if you dont manage it yourself.

Finally I decided to start the month with the "C" word. That's right Christmas.
So to ensure you have plenty of time to prepare, here is the Challenge.
DESIGN A BAUBLE. Do whatever shape or style you want, use scenes within the shape, patterns, lattice or even words. Great for cards and scrapbooking.
I've managed to find time to do a couple as examples, a bit basic so I am sure you will do better.
Happy designing and I look forward to seeing the creations.

Here we go - my very basic contribution.
At the moment it's just a screenshot and .GRA I'll try and convert it to .GSD later. For some reason whenever I do it it comes out very jaggedy.
Hope someone likes them.

Update - I've downloaded CutePDF and Inkscape and followed CarolUK's tutorial for converting from .GRA to .GSD. Hope it works for anyone who wants it.
Here's a couple of mine. I've included the svg but I've had to zip it
Here's Mine I have done 2 for you one is a bauble on it's own the other a bauble frame both with the same clip art that was free from the internet..
Hope they are ok :D I have also added the SVG for Cricut user's
It wouldn't be Christmas without a star.
The zipped one is an svg
Please delete previous file and use this instead
Ok go easy on me, this is my first ever design. In Texas we call these Christmas ornaments. Glass ornaments are almost always round and shiney. I used shiney paper for the cut out part.Cats love these on Christmas trees so we dont keep them very long. The ornaments that is. Cat people you know what I mean.
some lovely designs ladies.
Heres my offering.Have been trying to put something in the middle but beyond my capabilities. Will add another file if i manage it.

Hi All
Here is my efforts along with an SVG file as well....Enjoy.....:comp::comp::comp:
I have limited design thingy's, so tried my best with what I've got and came up with these. Hope they're suitable.
I don't normally get time to do the challenges but I thought today hey, Asda's open 24 hours :D Should have really been doing the shopping
Mine was created in Coreldraw12 and I've converted to .dxf then to .gsd but when it loaded into RM it was upside down and my rotate buttons are greyed out so I can't rotate it, won't make any difference in cutting I wouldn't have thought. Only a screen shot for now as I'll cut it when I get back from shopping

Thanks for the challenge Erika :thanks:
I hope I've read Lucilles thread right and we can upload an SVG with a screenshot without adding a gsd....if not I will upload the GSD as well
Sorry to anyone who downloaded the original bauble I realised when I was laying in bed last night that it wouldn't cut properly so I've reworked it and uploaded this one
