Gorgeous cards
Sam & Caz loving your cards
Everyones cards are fantastic and so inspirational. I have not long been stamping and own two Magnolia stamps. I have ordered the Spring Club set but am getting too impatient and yesterday had to order another one or two Magnolias (ok... 3 Angels plus 4 accessories!) I blame it on you ladies for showing me your beautiful cards! Nikki x
Hi Louise!
Welcome, but be warned that this is an addiction-feeding thread! :P
As for what you need for making cards, if you've been doing scrapbooking you've got most everything you need: paper, various adhesives, scissors and/or trimmer, and something to colour the stamps with (watercolour pencils or marker pens, etc.).
Have you done stamping before? If not, you'll need some stamp pads (and of course the stamps).
Some people make their own card blanks and envelopes, but I prefer to bulk buy mine... so you'll need some cards.
The list is endless but those are the basics. From there you can expand to the goodies like glitter, gilitter pens, embossing powders, ribbons, fibres, dies and die-cutting machines, and on and on......
Be sure to let us see your cards when you finish. Remember, none are perfect and no one is born knowing how to do this, so ask if you have questions. Most importantly, have fun and let your creativity run free.
Made more Xmas cards over thre weekend with my new Tilda's...can be seen HERE.
