Sorry I can't help Doreen as I have Norton and have always been happy with it. I am now thinking of useing Microsoft which Brian has mentioned as it is a free one. Thanks for the info Brian. Only problem is they might want me to upgrade as at the moment I am on Microsoft XP version 2002
Yesterday I changed to Firefox-it's great:) BUT I am now having problems logging in - the thing is I am already logged in - but being asked to log in to send private messages AND it won't let me!!!:o Have emailed MaryAnne twice - HELP PLEASE:D
Have you tried logging out then logging back in to see if that works?
Best place to post these problems is in the testing and help section right at the top of the main forum page then Stu or SMAX who manage things for us will prob see them too if around and pop in and help
Try logging out then log back in and put a tick in the Remember me box, it may solve the problem for now. HTH. :)
I use firefox and I haven't had this problem although I do have it set to log me anutomatically - but don't think that should make a difference
Anyone else installing this upon release on 22nd October? if not, I'll let you all know how it goes :comp: So, just in case, it's been lovely knowing you all and see you in the distant future, :o  In the meantime, everything will be set up on the vista laptop, :comp: I am hoping and looking forward to life settling down a bit so I can contribute more and do more with Robbie! I am getting home premium.
What brand of CD/DVD should I use?
It's a tough question, because the company whose name appears on those discs probably didn't manufacture them. There are hundreds of brands of discs, but only a few manufacturers of optical media.
The manufacturer determines the quality of the disc, not the brand.
Most important advice:
Don't buy cheap, no-name or common (Tesco etc) brand discs. The old maxim 'You get what you pay for' absolutely applies to optical media.
Most brands will switch from one supplier to another on a very regular basis. For example, Fujifilm
regularly buys discs from both Ricoh and CMC.

"What is the best quality DVD media?
Blank CD and DVD media is quite different. Most people assume it's all just about the same, and purchase it based on price. Do NOT do this! "
this is a good article and not too technical!
Hope this info helps for your storage needs.!
Probably The other Best way is back up on external hard drive or online.

I think it's far better than IE :) However, call me dim if you like:lol: but I have downloaded several 'add-ons' - how do I find them? I have the Greek dictionary but now can't find it!!
Tools/addons/extensions should show you any addons
