Think I like the Nellies better than the Maggies
Thanx Melanie your a start I just have to talk hubby into letting me have them!
I'm a bigger fan of the Nellies too Maggiemae, they are just grate:)
Maybe I should change my name to Nelliemae then
They are all so so cute but I think I am swaying more for the Nellies - they are sooo adorable!
Oh yippee!! my long awaited prismas arrived *insert boogy dance here* they made a detour from USA - Australia - UK.. lol
Really can't wait for the stamps to arrive next week!! I'm already making up a card to add the dressing up maggie to :P
My new years resolution is to try watercolours/colouring with my new stamps So far I have aquired a small box of water colour pencils from wh smiths but can someone explain if the prismas are different to water colour pencils and how does using spirit to blend change the effect (see, I should remain silent and be thought a fool than ask all these questions)
Seriously its something I would like to try but, as with any new technique I'm a bit unsure about what I need to start
I am not sure I am the one to answer that question as I have only this week had a chance to play with prismas and blender.
I would say the pencils are not so dry more creamy and once you work in the spirit it, it seams to melt the colour(much richer) and your work with it then, I also find the spirit does not rub your paper like water based blenders.
Those prismas are more expensive but a box should do you a life time.
That about sums it up Karen :D as with the prismas you don't use water.
Just got a blister on my thumb from sharpening the beauties, they'll be ready to go when my maggies arrive
I got a box of 120 Prisma's a couple of weeks ago - i'm still sharpening them, got about half done so far
Aye Fae your not suppost to eat them, chew the top maybe but not eat them!
