I asked if there were plans for the minis, here is their reply to that one :)
The promotions group is looking at our plan for the coming year and I’m sure that there will be promotions / mini catalogues as the market grows. Hopefully by mid-year there will be a mini catalogue. To be determined.
Don’t hesitate to ask questions. We’re happy to answer as best we can.
Karen, can I borrow your catty to stroke some time?!?!
Its a bit wet at the mo Pam, wait untill the drool drys first:lol:
Just so long as the pages arn't stuck together, hun!! ;)
eeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww
Pam enjoy those catys but your shopping list is not allowed to be longer than mine:stop:
Well girls next week is the last week of September and that makes November a whole lot nearer.
I have stopped buying SU on second hand market because its the current stamps that I will need most. saying that, when I look at the older cattys there are loads of loverly stamps in there.
Does anyone have a contact where I can buy the current catalogue?
I thought the exact same thing!Quote:

And my list is pretty looooooooong, but I'm sure you'll still beat me! Need a serious lottery win to stock up on cardstock, inkpads etc, as I NEED them in every colour!!
Having tried TLC, I think 5% postage is very reasonable - it would mean that you can place a small order if necessary something that was impossible with TLC. I also like the fact that you aren't encouraged to hold stock - much less risk from a demo'ers point of view - I have unsold stock in my craft room currently which means I actually made a loss on my previous experience.
I am currently considering SU but I will be going in with a lot of questions and a much more cautious approach! What I have heard so far is all good, although 20% doesn't sound a particularly significant discount when you have to buy catalogs etc.
On the VAT issue - you do not pay additional VAT when importing within the EU. VAT should be charged at source (ie, Germany) and would not then be charged again in the UK.
You would have to go to the USA and its more a book than a catty.
Sells at $10 and it would be heavy to post. No point looking at old issues and maybe our Uk catty will not be the same.
ETA Bev I am hoping that 20% is the minimum discount, if you reach bigger targets maybe you get more.
I am wondering if they have gone down the route of manufacture in Germany and then ship from Germany out - I always thought this would be a more viable option than importing from the US with the way duties and VAT are applied etc. That might allow for us having a different catty and also possibly a smaller range of items while they get production going etc.
Interesting thought though
