Oops forgot to post the prompts here for this week in case anyone is still playing along at home.
Fri 28th - "#1 Teacher" - Inspiration: Text background, die-cut accent, scalloped detail, stitched ribbon.
Sat 29th - "Bold Bright Teacher" - Inspiration: Lace cardstock, numbers, alpha stamps, 2 paper designs, Sassafras Lass.
Sun 30th - "A Kid with Class" - Inspiration: Primary colours, ABC, fancy frame, button/ribbon combo.
Mon 31st - "ConGRADulations" - Inspiration: Thickers, graph/lined paper, distressed edges, stitching.
**Bonus Card - "Fresh Lemonade" - Inspiration: American Crafts, Woodgrain design, gingham ribbon, decorative pin, vintage label.**
Tue 1st - "Believe in Your Dreams" - Inspiration: Positive greeting/quote, butterfly accent, stencilled/embossed detail, solid paper background.
Wed 2nd - "Deer Friend" - Inspiration: Vintage look and feel, liquid pearls, collage background, Webster's Pages/Prima.
Thu 3rd - "A Cupcake Kind of Day" - Inspiration: Red/turquoise/pink, flag/banner, two paper designs, hybrid detail.
About this challenge
Every Friday I will be posting prompts based on card designs that appear in the "Card a Day" 2010 idea book from Papercrafts.
This is a stress-free challenge as you just take what inspiration you want from the prompts to create as many or as few cards a week as you are happy with.
How you interpret the prompts is up to you, you can use the title, elements, or none of the above as a springboard to your own ideas. And you can try to incorporate the elements in cards for other challenges.
Just share what you make in the dedicated weekly thread.
You can find previous prompts in Challenges and Inspiration and post your cards to the relevant threads any time - there are no deadlines! :)
