Font of the Week

Es kelapa munda  is the opposite of last week's sweet font.  A little bit grungy, thin and rough, it is upper case only, although you can certainly mimic upper/lower by making the upper case letters a bigger point size.  Too much work for more than a title, perhaps, but it might be ok for short journalling bursts.  I rather fancy making it BOLD, cutting out an alphabet, and using the waste as a stencil...but maybe that's just me...

Digital this week, by fruitysuet, but totally do-able in paper if you like.  Love the patchwork border here and the way she did the title in speech bubbles, very cute! Members can click the link to see it bigger in her Gallery!

This is briefer than I would like but my connection is RUBBISH today.  It's taken hours to get this far!

Layouts: I like the circles frame on kazy1's layout here  . The patchwork element on YorkshireLass's layout is another nifty idea - great for scraps! Alexa's digital hexies are fab.

Cards: I thought this puzzle piece card byhannahvictoria was a cute idea. And this shutter card by Doda for IACW has good instructions, if you fancy having a go. Baby card with banner by emilie - a LIM winner - and birthday one. And the background of this monochrome card by alipeeps is lovely!

Other projects: A sweet box , with an embossed-on-acetate butterfly by The Crafting Owl. Fab clothes peg wreath by DeeDee. ArtAngel got together with another UKSer for a play date - love the tea bag holder - and Amanda has this sweet piece on her blog - I love that UKS brought them together! Just a nice post by Efemera about stash and interesting alterations.

Downloads: Download the cutfiles from Carole's blog to make a slice-form heart card. They come as a PDF if you don't have a cutting machine to use the electronic files. The giveaway has closed but check out the cute designs by Louise here ! Grab my camera-phone frame (printable or digital) here .

Sponsor Blogs: Scrap 365 has a wonderful scrappy quilt by Emy in this issue - see a sneaky peek on her blog. Check out AFTH - I want to see ore of the tags in the post here but look back a few for just a lot of stuff to covet.
