Font of the Week

Wings of wind  is a nice dingbat font.  If you want to add wings to a project but don't have a stamp, this one is for you!  You can even print it on patterned paper and then cut it out.  I wonder if you could increase the size slightly larger  to cut a mat for it with a cutting machine?  Would save all the little wing tip cutting.  Lots of variations so there should be a wing style for every project!

BlogBits is BACK! 12/9/2011

ImageAfter a long hiatus for both the summer hols and the Scrap Factor contest, BlogBits is finally back. Lets get right to it.  Some of this you wil have seen, but maybe some of it will be new to you! It may be a little disjointed this week, but I'll soonget back in the groove.

We'll kick off with a wealth of scrapping inspiration from Shimelle.  Where to begin? First, she still has the classes from her weekend available here.  Lots of challenges to inspire you even if the prizes have all gone.  Then the freebie Camera School class is well worth a look. And of course a couple of 4x6 Photo Love posts and more sketches, as well as the new Scrapbook Starting Points - a nifty new concept.

Hels does a regular Sunday Stamper challenge - check it out for regular weekend inspiration. And Nabview has her Going Postal series which is well worth a browse.

There was a Conterfeit Kit blog hop last month.  You can still follow it from here.   It might be just the thing now the kids are safely back at chool and time may just be a tiny bit freer for scrapping. Seffie has a Pinterest Parade on her blo, with links to many boards, pins, etc. That'll keep you busy for a bit.

Love Kazzells faux leather tutorial . And Wombat's mini for twins .  Cute idea! HelenT has handy hints for creating an "any size" stepper card. I liked JaneH's Anatomy of a Travel Journal post. Using the Wayback Machine (a snapshot of webpages at a moment in time, when the site has since disappeared) I unearthed the Turkish Map Fold PDF and reposted it here . Love gosie's ATCs here . Misteejay has a neat post on making your own bckgrounds

And a couple of Freebies - Purklepoi has some word sheets , I have some journaling blocks here and a post showing my printables from Shimelle's weekend cut out using a variety of punched and Nesties here (as well as the set as blank printables here , in case the word ones don't work for you) and Louise has a fab set here and another one here that you will love.

I'm sure I've missed loads, but hopefully that gives you a little taste of all the interesting stuff on UKSers blogs.
