These are interesting little bits of art, similar to ATCs but on a smaller scale. I find the challenge of such a tiny canvas daunting, but many have the knack of creating teeny tiny art. A great place to start is Small World of Inchies and Twinchies . Also see the associated Flickr gallery here
Quite an old post but a good overview on Go Make Something - and an equaly good follow on post that explains not only Inchies, but Rinchies, Twinchies and Moos! A video on YouTube. Another one . A panel card from Hero Arts using inchies video. ArtChix is a retail site, but some cute ideas that can be adapted. This blog, Inchie INKlings , also has some nice ideas, also linked to a store. I particularly like this one - great idea! Not realy an info post, but love the poem at Chris' Craftlings Crafting blog: Inchies & Twinchies Inchies, and twinchies, and thrinchies and moos All of them crafty, and so many to choose, Scrapping and stamping, distressing and such RAKs and blog candies to keep us in touch, Trading cards for artists to swap, Sketches and challenges for our weekly hop. How would we cope without our card craft? We’ve papers to stroke, and some think us daft, But with others to share our sweet obsession, We spend and we spend to increase our possession Of stamps and ribbons, brads and gems, Pencils, paints and lots of pens. When will it end? Hopefully, never.. But one things for sure, we’ll have friends forever! The inchie image here is by mel81pop from a UKS swap.
