Journal is a perfect journaling fornt for the handwritten look without putting pen to paper.  I particularly like the special characters and there is a cute little heart dingbat, a little fish skeleton, and a coffee cup in the character map that might be useful.

Bracketology

Image

I've used a couple of fonts from The Scrappin Cop before, but not this one - Bracketology.  There is a clear and simple description here (and a link for downloading.)  The dingbat font includes 26 handrawn bracket pairs, many which will cut using your die-cut-any-font machine and the 9 journaling lines can be printed.
