I did a card with my new Quirky kit and I used the colourway as inspiration.

Thanks for a great challenge.

Magsellis... yours is lovely too! Love the cluster of flowers and that you incorporated the use of buttons and pearls onto your layout and as the centre of some of the flowers.
Sonja.... I've commented on your card too, but just gorgeous and so apt for today!

To be honest, this isn't a colour combination that I would use on a layout, but I did make a patchwork card with turquoise, pink and orange. I will add a sentiment to the ribbon when I know who I am giving it to.

Hope you had a great day playing Sally, can't wait to see what you did and that is a gorgeous card Amanda. Clever idea to leave the sentiment until you know who it is been sent to, going to have to start doing that myself I think.

Hello there, heres my effort at using that unusual mix of colours, I have spray misted the background white with Pink shimmer mist and then used the orange and blue and red in the flowers and leaves and PP's, also used buttons and beads

Simple recipes - February.
I've been wanting to use this photo of our two nephews, who live in Oz, for ages.
The orange and turquoise combo was just what it needed and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
I've posted it in the Simple Recipes gallery but can't add the link here? Help!?

My attempt is here

I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge.
Only used paint on this one (under date and on chipboard alphas). Have used buttons on my current attempt that I aim to have finished by next weekend!

Maggie, I have the same problem as new members can't post links. We CAN attach a thumbnail to the post though. Scroll down below the message box and click 'Manage Attachments'. Hope this helps.

Am I right in thinking you'll be able to do links once you've posted 10 times? If so, have a wander around the gallery, spread a little love by leaving some comments (it's a good habit to get into ) and boost your post count at the same time

Made another LO using old stash, tis time following one of the sketches. Used hints of yellow instead of the pink to better suit the photo.
Hoping to make another LO before the new challenge. Really enjoying them. Ty x

Hi, I finished my LO for this months recipe last night & just got it posted in the gallery. I took a while to get going this month. I had trouble getting the colours together & then this photo of my DD on a fairground carousel seemed to need the exact pink, turquoise & orange. See what you think; here's the link:

Thanks
