Thank Shimell! It is a wonderful tutorial. It has made a lot of fun to create the LO.

If I discover how to do it, I will also upload the LO in Gallery

you could water down some of the acrylic paint, dip a paint brush into it and shake/flick the paint brush over the cardstock to make the splashes.

Now I have worked it out I am going to have a go at all these new techniques though, thank you
I struggled with the font too.

Love the layout!!

Thanks wombat! I'll give that a go. I'm improvising on most of the elements as these techniques are all very new to me - hope to have my page in the gallery later.
Just wondered if it has to go anywhere 'special' or just in the general gallery?
thanks
Louise

Ooops - silly me. I have followed the link in an earlier post and know that there is a special gallery section for our LO's. Hope to show you my work later today (if I can think of some decent bullet point journalling).

Just spotted this - looks fab. But I don't have any mists although there might be some paint lurking about somewhere. Will have to have a think about it.

Have put mine in the gallery here (I hope)

http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...28150&cat=8252

Have stuck very much to the original LO design as I was using different papers and so many new ideas.

Well this really really took me out of my comfort zone. I don't do paint. I don't do messy. I don't do glitter. So it did what it said ont he tin. It made me try something completely different.
Sorry it is not really very much like the example but it had to be 8 1/2 x 11 not 12 x 12.

Thank you for a challenge

Here is mine

and heres mine, I like paint and stitching, but not sure if I would have bothered with quite so many elements if not for the challenge, so thanks for making me do all the steps!

Great step by step Shimelle. I have the circle paper on order and the one Janen chose so I hope they come in time for me to play next week.

I have just finished My LO and I want to thanks Shimelle for this challenge. Today was the first time I have scrapped in about 2 years. I had got to the stage where I was seriously thinking about getting rid of my stash, but I am so glad I didn't now

I will upload it tomorrow after I have taken a photo of it.

This is the first time I've scrapped an entire page that doesn't have at least one person in it - and I've just bought some more floss/embroidery thread for future projects!
Thank you Shimelle for such an inspirational challenge

I didn't have the papers, but still went with a sci fi theme using some Dr Who photos from a couple of years ago.
The Lo is very unlike ones I would usually make, but I do like the glitter spots and the use of the small photos.
Here's my page.
