I struggled for ages with this but finally I've got something I'm pleased with - thanks for the inspiration!

Have done my page - using a kit that I put together for Shimelles Pretty Paper Party as the colours were perfect - and I have used up old stash so a double bargain. Will take a photo later.

Yay! I've done my first LO of 2012......Thankyou for the inspiration
I have to say that whilst the colour scheme was not the first i would reach for when i saw hot pink & chocolate brown it brought back a memory of a photo of myself in......wait............and please don't cringe......a hot pink mini skirt feeding my little one his very 1st chocolate! It WAS 1989
Anyway, it has helped kickstart my scrapping...............so a big THANKYOU!
I'll take a pic in the morning & post later.

Loved the challenge and the colour scheme was bautiful - one I love using.
I sort of followed the sketch but modified it a little as I scrap landscape letter size generally.

Wow! Loved this. I made a quick kit on Friday night and made a DLO and a SLO within 2 hours. Today, I've done 2 more SLO using the same kit and sketch- all completely different. I'll try to photograph and blog them when the light is better.

This is my take on it
The colours work well even though it's a photo of my grandson! I substituted grey for cream as I could not find any grey in my stash!!

Love this challenge. My take on it is a LO of my new GDD. I had this photo sitting on my table waiting to be done and the colours seemed to fit this challenge.

Here is my LO inspired by the colourway from the Simple Recipes PDF.

I did change the hot pink for a deep red as it fitted my stash I wanted to use. Thanks for a great challenge.
I'm going to use the sketch for another LO as well but different colourway.
