Well, am pleased to report that after a whingey start to the day, she seems to have snapped out of whatever was bothering her. She's a little more subdued than usual but we've had no hysterics since this morning. Fingers crossed the worst is over.

Afternoon Buttoneers, sorry not on earlier but have an early start on a Thursday.
Glad Aimee is back to normal or near normal, so worrying when you can't find a reason.

Morning Buttons.
Busy day here... we've been up and out Aimee's Rhythm Time class and I desperately need to get some crafty projects finished for submission today. Am going to have to try and work on them in fits and starts between keeping an eye on the kiddies. Thankfully DH is home today... except he's just gone out for a dentist appt to have a wisdom tooth removed (the reason he's taken the day off work)!!

Oh dear Ali, hope DH isn't in too much pain. Get him to have the kids as soon as he comes back and escape to your craft room before the pain relief wears off.

Oh dear re the tooth - I had a molar out last week and it does take a long time for the bruising to go down, hope he recovers quickly.
We are off to friends for dinner tonight, so no crafting, and I think I'll struggle to fit any in this weekend. Good job I have next week off!

Well, he said it went okay and wasn't too bad and he wasn feeling okay afterwards... but he's feeling a bit rotten now and is having a doze on the sofa.
I did manage to get in my craft room though and got my projects finished and submitted.. just!

Morning. Um.. well, afternoon. S'morning for me.
Feels like ages since I've had a decent lie-in. Mind you, as soon as I got myself downstairs DH "asked" if it was okay if he went out in the garden for a bit to shoot some arrows (he's recently decided to get back into archery (he used to shoot competitively at uni) so a couple of weeks ago we went to an archery shop and got him (and me!!) fitted for a new bow and arrows and ordered a target... he picked up the target yesterday so he's been champing at the bit to have a go!) so I'm kiddy-wrangling on my own. *sigh*
Oh, and I've discovered a new downside to weaning (other than the mess involved!)... I know have two little monsters stealing my breakfast!! As it is I can't eat a piece of toast with Aimee wanting some but now Mia's at it too! As soon as she saw my toast she got all excited and was clearly wanting some so between her and Aimee half a slice was gone before I'd even taken a bite!

aww bless them! Good that they're not finicky eaters and they want to try everything, one of my granddaughters was really fussy and refused to try anything new, it was a real nightmare! Hope you manage to get some for yourself though Ali!!
