Not in Chichester Tescos today.

Bev, I'm pretty sure I've seen the GBM in Hobbycr@ft - I think they are buttons.

2nd advent house

Here is my 2nd, altered advent house. I found this one much easier to do as I had already spent overtime on the first one so knew which way I would do it. It has similar embellishments to my daughters house but the colour scheme is for a little boy. I also did the roof different by adding a christmas tree bead chain.

Hope you like it.

Linda

cool roof

Bev,

I also painted mine but soon realised that it wasnt going to work to well as it looked a little boring. I still painted the chimney white but then I cut out about 50 1inch circles out on white card using my cricut machine Glued them on then went over it all with irridescent glitter glue. I got a large bottle of it from my local boundary mills in the craft department but I'd guess you would get it in most craft stores.

Hope this helps.

Linda

I went to our Tesco today and asked the woman in the Christmas section about the Advent calendar. She looked at me like I was asking for alien candy! She didn't know anything about it!!

Its a real shame that not all tesco's are stocking the Calendars in. Did you see the bar code for them a few posts back? My mum and another lady posted them. Ring them again with the bar code - surely a member of staff could tell you which of yours tesco's would stock them or if they could get one for you?

I missed them last year and was gutted. This year I paid £15 to get similar houses from that well known online auction site. I've not started on them yet though!!!

The houses here are lovely and make me realise that I've got to get a shifty on with mine!

I rang the Tesco Customer Services number on 0800 505 555 and the lady there said "ooh we've been asked about the houses and the trains a lot just recently" lol... I wonder why...

She was able to check my local stores and has found that Pitsea has 6 in with more being delivered tomorrow - guess where I'm heading off to after work!

just rang customer services and looks like they may be delivered to some stores tomorrow. Apparently if you go to customer services at your local store and quote

EAN:5051898394516

they should be able to tell you if they have some in and if so, when they will be put on the shelves.
