I wont be doing it tonight now but would like another go tomorrow

    Thanks in advance

Daft question how would I do that? I just uploaded photos from camera added to computer and it opens up in windows picture and fax viewer. Do I need to copy it into a word document?

If you have any graphics software there will be an option to make the file smaller, often a Save For Web option

Many here also use Pix Resizer to adjust their pics to the right size before uploading
It's a free download from here

no don't copy into a word doc as then you would need to upload it as a word file which wont show in your gallery, althoguh thinking about it you can do some editing of photo's in word but then don't think you can save them as you need to.

If you have added them to your computer from your camera then they are most likely jpegs and this is what you need to re-size.

So if you have something like Photoshop or similar (even some software you may have got with your carmera) open them in that to resize, or use the pix resizer I've linked to above.

Another option is Picasa - a very useful little tool for pics and again free
