One Day Creative Photography and Scrap

This will be held in Northwich (roughly 5 miles off J19 M6) on the

24th February 2007

**This bit is important - Your camera must be digital. it can either be a DSLR or have digital manual settings. I cannot teach creative photography to ladies who own a compact (feel rotten about that - sorry!). Manual settings are the only way to achieve the required results. Tripod is actually essential. Christmas presents perhaps???!!
Check your camera's manual now to see if you camera has these settings. RAW settings would be a bonus but not essential right now. Fuji 5500, 5600, 7000 and 9500 are suitable. Not sure of Canon and Nikons unless you have a canon 300 and above and Nikon D50 and above. Some cool pix have these settings.
However - I have 2 cameras to lend that have these settings if you would like to come on the course and are THINKING of buying a DSLR afterwards.**

1. The day starts at 9.30 am and finishes at 6pm - Venue Lach Dennis Village Hall.
Directions:
Leave the M6 at junction 19 (signposted Northwich, Knutsford, Macclesfield), then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Chester Road - A556 (signposted North Wales, Chester)
Warning: Speed Cameras along the A556
Keep left A556 (dual carriage way)
Turn left onto Pennys Lane - B5082 (signposted Lach Dennis)
Bear right onto Holmes Chapel Road - B5082.
Enter Lach Dennis
Village hall is situated next to the Duke pf Portland Public house

2. Photography will start at 9.30 prompt becuase of daylight hours being so crucial. We will show you how to take creative photographs using manual settings. We will explain the importance of the techincal side of your cameras other settings. We will take pictures of still and moving life and how to achieve the best results. I will print off the ohotos you take of each other for you to do in a class later on!

3. 1345 - 1415 Buffet lunch will be provided plus tea/coffee breaks throughout the day. My MIL makes the yummiest tray bake cakes in the world plus my hubby is the best tea brewer.

4. 1430-1530 Afternoon class taught by myself - this will be a layout using embroidery floss and eyelets. Papers and cardstock TBD

5. 1600 - 1730 Afternoon class taught by Debbie Nicholas (mumof4boys) - This will be a BOM project using the picture you took from the shoot.

6. A shop will be there for you to feast your eyes on www.scrapfairies.co.uk

The cost is £65 for the day. You will cover all the basics of your camera and to get you started on creative photography.

Yes please Kirsty, thanks to your generous payment plan I think I can squirrel the money away, plus a Saturday is best day for me

Hmm no idea where the place is but I'm sure the AA have a very nice man who can tell me!

for anyone thinking of car share, I will be coming from Derbyshire and when I find out the route will be willing to have company along for the ride!
