Sorry but oh that made me laugh and want to cry for you at the same time. I thought at first you'd posted it upside down. I've done that by sticking something down only to realise its either upside down or back to front when you open the card.
Personally, I'd salvage that by stamping the message onto a topper and sticking it down on top of the original sentiment. Better still, if you stamp it and then have a fancy die to cut it out with, it will look as though you intended it to be that way all along. It's too pretty to waste.
Salvaged it. Stamped onto a piece of card, and put a border round it
Excuse the clutter in the background, you know how it is, when you want to get
something done....

Well done 14 cards Wendy thats a lot
Love the Christmas one Ellie and yours Elaine
Like this one too Ellie now you salvaged it well done love the sentiment and the flowers & colour tones is that one stamp or several
Well salvaged Ellie, I would have done the same :-) Love the pearls on the tree Elaine.
Here are my Flame cards, one will be DH's valentine, much more organised than I usually am!! It's the same stamp, I tried three different dies with it - an oval and two Nesties labels (L38 not shown here) the oval and L38 both look fine, but L36 fits it perfectly so I used it on all the other ones I had coloured :-) The two Nesties were my die purchase this month.....
Wendy, they are beautiful. I especially like the darker red valentines card.
Lucky husband. Nice background embossing as well.
You are really good at colouring, I'm rubbish

Well done Ellie, you'd never know would you. That's a lovely stamp you've used and having the shadow background makes a great touch too.
Gorgeous cards Wendy, the red one is so striking especially against the white Swiss dot background. That's a nice die too. I must think about Valentine's Day, it's not far off now.
Oh dear Red Head that's something I can relate to...Could you save the card by mounting a stamped piece with the text on foam pads?
Lovely cards everyone. Elaine I hope your DIL has a speedy recovery.
Edited to add: oops sorry I seem to have missed out a page when replying to your post Red Head. I think you managed to save your card beautifully.

OMG, I was just about to post a picture of the wedding card and I noticed an error on it. Why do I always notice the errors not he photo's and not when I'm looking at the card. There is a gap between the numbers on the date instead of it being 2017 it is 201 7 - how could I have missed that! I'll post it and you can see what I mean.
I know what I'm going to do, I'm going to print the top layer out again and glue it flat over the bottom layer. I'll have to remove the hearts first. If that doesn't look perfect then I'll have to try and remove the original topper but I used silicone glue to stick it downed give it some height!
Susie if you have to remove the original topper you should be able to slice through the silicone with a sharp craft knife. When putting the new topper on make sure that you add the silicone in different places to the original silicone. I did this once with a serrated bread knife.

Well, on the cup half full side, the whole topper peeled off quite well, leaving nothing on the card. Fortunately, the card blanks are 350 gsm so no bending of the card base either. Just got to glue the other topper on and cut the hearts again now. I thought I'd have to try your tip scrapmate using the knife, but it's amazing how something can be stuck so well yet peel off quite easily.
This is the third time I'll have glued a topper on, let's hope it stays there this time. I can't believe this predictive texting/typing. I wrote this time, it changed it to thistle and then asked me if I wanted it to read this time!
