    Your favourite creative apps

I've recently added quite a few apps to my collection that I am using regularly - not just for taking and editing photos, but for recording thoughts and events.

One of these, Day One, is currently free to download as part of the 5th anniversary celebrations of the Apple App Store.

I've been using this one every day since downloading it 2 weeks ago. Love it! And definitely a good one to have if you are about to go away on a trip as it can also function as a very easy travel journal.

There's another free one called "Over" that allows you to add text and doodles. I had a play last night, but still prefer combining the features of A Beautiful Mess, Rhonna Design, PicTapGo, and Instagram to get the look I am after.

A lot of these photo-editing apps are only available for Apple devices, one of the big reasons why I ended up switching to iPhone when my phone was up for renewal, plus I'd recently got an iPad so wanted to sync them easily.

Does anyone have any other recs for apps they use regularly for creativity on their iPhones/iPads?

Or have an Android app makers come up with similar apps that do the job?

    I also like:

PicFrame for putting multiple photos into one, great when it come to printing
InstaWeather for putting the weather and place on a photo. A bit different
Photobox for easy quick ordering when I'm out and about
    Pininterest for inspiration.

Ah, InstaWeather is the app I have been wanting to put a name to! Seen lots of lovely photos using it but didn't know which app was the culprit.

I love my Pinterest app and Feedly too for keeping up with my blogs, I use PicStitch to do collages for sharing online, but never thought about using one for printing.

I love Fuzel and Frametastic for colleges. IncrediBooth for a photobooth effect is quite good too.

Not a creative app but I've just recently downloaded Goodreads after buying two of the same books in Tesco recently. It's great for keeping track of what you have read and what's on your to-read list

I have already bookmarked the MME chalk collection from Rhonna as one to look out for. I just wonder how the UK prices will far as MME tends to be an expensive one, but I rather like how much of the chalk effect you can get onto your photos in Rhonna's app already.

I usually use Goodreads on my PC rather than the app as it doesn't seem to always record the date I finished a book when I mark it read, I mainly use Shelfari in my browser as an easy way to keep track of what I've got to read, am reading, have just read as - not available as an app yet though.

Will have to check out Fuzel and Frametastic to see what they're like.
