I now have all the info I need and am happy to lay out the details of the contest!

During the months of JUNE and JULY we ask you to do ONE layout from EACH of the 2013 UKS challenges, and ONE card for the 52 Card Challenge. For the SNAP:2013 challenge you will need to do a layout using one of the photo prompts. You can use ANY of the challenge prompts from 2013.

Of your SEVEN layouts, you will be allowed to use up to TWO layouts you have previously done for any of the 2013 Challenges. The card should be new.

2. Simple Recipes
3. Old Stash New, New Stash SU!
4. TEAM (weekly)
5. HOUSE (monthly) challenges.
6. SNAP:2013 (the phototgraphy challenge)

There will be a new Gallery opening up 1st June and closing 28th July with voting opening 29th July and running thru August.

GALLERY UPLOAD INFORMATION:

In order to be able to allow voting on a complete set of the layouts, you will need to upload all the items in ONE Gallery post.

You can upload each item individually to either your Member Gallery or to the Galleries for each of the challenges, then capture the image location URL and add that using the [img] [/img] tag in the Description box of your We Challenge You! Gallery post.

You can add all 6 additional layouts and the card image to the description box. Unlike a forum post you can't click the [img] tag and add the url. You must type the string in the Description as :

[img] URL of the image[/img]

I will be adding a list of prizes for the contest on Friday.

So. just to be clear...
we can do a LO from any months prompts, not just the June/July prompts.
BUT only two can be previously made LO's


I still need to play catch up on some challenges ! So I could do those ones if I wish ?

Photography - down at the bottom, change the dates to SHOW POSTS From the beginning (last 6 months even) to show all the posts.

and yes, you can use any of the classes and any of the prompts for 2013 - be careful tho' Simple Recipes ran last year too so make sure you are using the 2013 ones and don't drift back to 2012!

Yes, if you routinely do the classes/challenges like the TEAM and HOUSE ones, you may use a maximum of TWO (from 2013 ) to put them towards your 7 layouts.

If people do the house and weekly as they come up as normal do they just upload them as normal and then move the images to the one post int he special gallery when it opens or do they keep them and not upload to the usual house and weekly gallery in June and July.

House members normally put their house pages in the house galleries each month, would you rtaher they didn't and held them back for the competition posting.
I just know I am going to get a lot of questions!

No need to "move" them at all - Just capture the URL of the IMAGE and add it in the description - that way the layout stays in the HOUSE gallery, but the image is displayed in the Contest gallery post!

For the purposes of the contest the layouts for the months of JUNE and JULY DO NOT COUNT as the 2 previously done layouts.

So they could so a TEAM layout from June, a House layout from July, for example, then use two previously done layouts from past months for any of the other challenges.

One of the three (or however many there might be for that month) MUST be used, but you can feel free to use more if you want to!
