A lovely page Sue, certainly lots of layers but well worth the effort.

Both is fine by me Sarah.
Mind you I have still got Vicki's tutorial to do yet, I have been busy with paints and inks though.

Heloo all Yes, I'm very sorry, in my excitement to get the tutorial up this morning (with 3 VERY nifty pages from the Stencil Queen, I might add) I forgot to add the attachment!
Sorry to all those waiting with paint in hand - and sorry SQ
I'll just file this under ???, like the times I leave the tv remote and the phones in the fridge...
I feel a page coming on, something to do with stencils and a memory like a sieve - pun intended!

Stencil Queen? is that like Dairy Queen?
I hope you all have fun this week hunting out weird and wonderful household items to splodge your inks and paints and mists through....

Fab tute Sarah.
Before everyone starts asking about spray gesso - I have tried to get my hands on it for the store as it is available in the USA, but having spoken to the people in the UK who do supply it it CANNOT be re-sold under EU Laws. It's only available for commercial purposes. Which is why it's not available in EU stores. Just thought I'd let you guys know before you start asking for it. It seems it has a few nasties in it that we don't like this side of the pond.

I did manage to get hold of some but we (myself and another UKScrapper) had to get a case of 6 cans from a wholesaler and split it between us
It worked out horrendously expensive though by the time we had paid all the duties and VAT - about £16 a can! Probably wouldn't bother again.
It's a pity it isn't easier to get hold of - best bet is to find someone who is going on hols to the states and ask them to bring one back - only $9 a can over there and easy to find

Lots of lovely things to try out Sarah, the nearest thing I have to the white gesso spray is the crafty notions white spray, it will not be permanent like the gesso though as it reacts with water but as long as it was the final spray and left alone it might do the job!
Still need to do Vicki's tutorial though but Inhave just finished off prepping a new journalling book today so am now going to play catch up on the AJ lessons.
