Evening, back from my first day in Bristol and oonie was defiantly happy to see his mum, had to break it to him that tomorrow mum needs to leave at 4:30 so alarm of 3:30. I'll be home around 7:30 tomorrow so a really LONG day.

I have a home made chicken and leak pie in the oven and I've just treated myself to a couple of home made jam tarts. There are still a few left if you want one.

Fi the SU stuff sounds fab and looking forward to seeing your showcase on your blog.

I can report back that the pie was really, really yummy, and I have enough leftover ingredient to make another one next weekend.
Sandra good to see you around. Ok off check on the pie in the oven.

Hi all, busy day here! Got the youngest weighed this morning, he's just over 2 stone already, hope he loses some of it when he gets moving! Felt really tired and ill after lunch but think it might be because I missed breakfast. Feeling fine now after my nap and work!

Sorry I haven't been around much, I've been (shock, horror) scrapping! Had a really productive couple of weeks which I have enjoyed so much.

Hi Dawn, what should he weigh then? and yes, as soon as he's mobile, he'll be off and running

I bought a new teapot this morning, as our old one was so badly chipped, and the handle felt a tad loose - actually, more than a tad

... anyway, this one is soooooooo pretty - it's pink (of course) and has little silver coloured dots all over it. eerrrrr, and of course I had to get the matching sugar bowl

.... so anyone for tea????

Well the health visitor said he's fine as he's consistently followed the centile line he's on, he's just one of the heaviest of his age. His brother was always one of the lighter ones so I've got complete opposites. In fact they both weigh similar even though there is 2 years between them!

Jo I couldn't stay down as mark's on the boat and I can't find a Cattery I like for furry, so the only workable plan was two days of daily comuting for 2.5 hours each way.

I am on my way back now and have stopped on the motorway for some late lunch, I can see some Percy pigs in my near future.

Michelle sending loads of [[[[[hugs]]]]], hope you feel more yourself soon.

Sandra the kettle sounds pretty, so have you tried it yet as I know I am gasping.

Sandra thanks, I am home from my trip, trying to decide if I want to go for a cycle ride, do some Zumba or just have an evening on the sofa with furry. I am pretty exhausted so option 3 sounds best.

Ok off to get myself sorted.

I'm not worried really Sandra, just be glad when I don't have to carry him around everywhere! As he started off at 11lb 10ozs I always expected him to be heavy!
Mandy glad for you that your 2 long days are over and done, I don't blame you for wanting to chill out on the sofa with the furry one!
I'm going to spend some time with DH sorting out my project life photos so I can order a batch later this week!

Morning, we had a layin this morning until 5:30, now having breakfast before catching the train at 7:20. I am meeting a friend for breakfast before both of us head to a meeting, I should be home by 5.

I am going for a cycle this evening if it's dry if not it's Zumba. Then I might do some cutting and glueing later. Bye for now.

Dawn, our plan today - because Simon is off this week, is to go through the boxes and boxes of photos mum & dad have. And when I say boxes ... I've actually put them in those big really useful boxes

... plus they've got about a 20 - 30 albums. My dad had a real love of photography. He used to develop his own photos

Right ... coffee anyone?
