sad another newbie having a problem!

I live in Salford, Manchester....If there is anyone out there that could show me how to use the Craft Robo Lite! Having downloaded the disc and the thingy for going on line (using computer images) I am still at a loss. Absolutely desperate to have someone teach me how to get going...You tube doesn't help....tried it! If you live anywhere near me I would gladly pay you to show me how to get started!!!! Either me come to you with my stuff or you come to me!!! (I am really desparate!!!)

Welcome to the forum Craftingagain, have a read of the tutorials the only thing you won't be able to do with the Lite is print and cut (decoupage) although there is a workaround so the tutorials will help you. Why not download Silhouette Studio it's free and a lot of us are using it instead of Robomaster, you can get it here

Hi welcome to UKScrappers, please read this thread there is a lot of information there.

As Tina said we can help you. I think you need to learn the Studio software first as that is the brains of the whole thing, without your machine is just a dust collector. Even if you don't want to make your own designs you still need to learn how to open and save files, select the cut lines and a few other bits and bobs.

There is also a manual in the Help menu of the Studio software, it's quite basic and won't teach you how to make your own designs, but will explain what the commands in the software do.

The link is to download the Silhouette Studio software, you need to scroll down a bit to see the link.
Here's the link to the tutorials

Hi Craftingagain and welcome to the forum.

The link that Doreen gave you to the studio software download is the correct one, it works with all robo & silhouette machines. Click on the blue bit thats underlined, it says: Silhouette Studio for PC & Mac, once you've clicked on it all you should need to do is follow the instructions on your screen and its usually just next, next, next, etc.

    Hope that helps.

    Silhouette Studio Newbie Question

    Hi

I was just wondering how to get the grid like the one in Robomaster...I found that really useful when designing. I found the grid option but it doesn't come out the same measurements as my matt.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance

You can set the measurement how you want them IE inches/cm/mm by going to File/preferences/measurements. You can set the size of the grid squares by going to the top menu and clicking the last icon on the right (it looks like a little grid).
