Got a new little project idea to have a go at using the Resolutions kit. I got the plain alice bands from the 'auction site'. Made the embellie with some of the canvas made into a swirly flower (like you make the paper ones but with fabric) added one of the Prima centers to the middle and wrapped some of the netting around it. To make the leaves I glued two of the glitter cabochons onto some scraps of the canvas, cut them out leaving an edge and then glued some of the sequins onto the edge. These were glued onto a round piece of canvas that had the edges painted and then the flower was glued over the top. The whole thing I then glued onto the hair band. You could use the same kind of embellishment for a bracelet or on a layout or card too?

Picked my kit up from the PO yesterday and it is LUSH!! Have had it all out and looked through it several times

Leo, that hairband is fab! What glue did you use? I sometimes have trouble with it soaking into the fabric and not sticking

My kit arrived today and WOW - it is lovely. This has to be the best kit I have seen and im so glad I went for it. Cant wait to use it - beautifully wrapped too.

Can I ask where I can buy some more of those cards that say what shall I wear?

Thanks

Glad you liked the kit Supergirl. I'm not sure where Leo got the cards from - but perhaps you could either search for: My Minds Eye Daily Dose ‘What to wear’ journalling cards on the internet or start a new thread on the Shop Til You Drop forum on here to see if any sponsors have them in stock.

Should I guess that you need them for your own 'year in outfits' book by any chance?

I've just posted some more of my layouts using the Resolutions kit on the Crafty Templates blog here.

Hi glad you like the kit! I've had a quick google around for those cards for you (they're called daily dose cards) and found some on Artbase here. They're a great price on there there was some on another non-sponsor store for 70p

I've made two more LOs with the lit here: http://notesonpaper.blogspot.com/200...sometimes.html and there's still lots left! I did have an idea of how I was going to use the canvas ...but it's completely slipped my mind now - I'll let you know if it comes back to me .
