View GalleryI saw some mats like the flower one on create and craft, won't mention the person showing them as I don't think it is allowed, anyway I saw them and they were quite pricy for what you get so I decided to play around and do my own.The snowflake mat is my own idea as I needed a nice mat to showcase one of Silenes fabulous snowflakes.
Apologies for the image, obviously gold & silver mirri card and a scanner don't mix
As you see, the different sections of the mat can have different colour paper/card behind them so great for using those little bits I tend to hoard as they are too pretty to throw away
BTW, use quite thin card otherwise the small pieces won't come out without tearing the mat and don't cut them too small, I made mine to fit 135 x 135 mm square cards.
