Thank you to the contributors for all the wonderful files uploaded so far, there have been so many great ideas, and thank you to Erika too, for setting such an inspiring challenge.
My bauble design is a line art template, to be drawn in gel pen first, before sending it to cut. I decorated the card with glitter glue and a length of ribbon threaded through the slots cut either side of the bauble's hanging loop.
Erika,
I loved this challenge. It really got those Christmas design juices flowing.
I kept seeing Christmas posts and thinking I couldn't even imagine what
to start with. Then I started seeing the baubles and began to imagine how
I would decorate each one. No matter how simple the design, they can
be decorated in so many different ways!!!
I think the November challenge should be to cut out all the beautiful
ornaments, decorate a tree with them and then we could post pictures of
how beautiful the trees look!!!!!
Did this one this afternoon, I don't know the weight of the holographic card, the green one is a thinnish fooil card. The wrappers for the cards have long gone.
I've been fiddling with this design for awhile but wasn't sure what to do with it - Then I got into designing an ornament for the challenge and thought this would make a nice one too!
It could also be used for a topper on a card too!
The cardinal is layered but I colored the pine needles and cones with a marker.
More fabulous templates since I last looked - thanks to all, they are lovely.
At last I have managed a contribution to the challenge. Very simply done using the star, polygon and fan tools in DM. Font is Fontleroy Brown. I used the pen option to write Xmas, then managed to smudge it, so went over it with a quickie glue pen and glittered it!
These were designed as squares in Inkscape then warped into circle shapes to (hopefully ) give the illusion of depth. The GSD's were hand traced in RM 2.4 for a faster cut.
They test cut well from 180 gsm card. Hope they are useful.

Yes, I am back to play now that autumn has arrived and I have more free time.
I thought I would have a try at the challenge, this is my effort.
I made this bell in the spring for a wedding card so adapted it to use for Christmas after much head scratching on opening designmaster, I have forgotten sooooooo much I even needed to download my own tut on converting from GRA to GSD !!!!
So, as I have forgotten what size files I am allowed to upload I have zipped the file, there are a couple of options to try and I included extra text for layering, have fun.
This one is made from a dingbat ....it's been changed slightly so you shouldn't need to have the dingbat but if you do need it it's called called P22 snowflakes it cut's fine
Hi Ladies such beautiful designs make mine look poor.. I had a lot of trouble converting it.. I could not open in Robo 5.10 so done it in 4.4...I made it in Design Master.. It seems to have grown some arrows I havn't a clue what happened so I hope it will be ok as I havn't cut any of them yet... Jo.
