    August Prize.........

I picked out Jenni Bowlin goodies as the prize for August and went with a vintage theme. Lots of other goodies in there too including some eco craft manilla card blanks that I love making clean & simple cards with, they're a nice change from basic cream/white.

    Loving all the cards btw!

Had a little play this afternoon, was suppose to be tiying up my craft room Shame to let all those bits of bazzill go to waste so layered a few for this card, added a bazzil chip topper and some ribbon and voila....a plain card !!

    thanks Mole.

Gwyneth, that bazzill chipboard looks ideal for cardmaking, especially the "simple" theme, as it's a card centrepiece in itself! Does it come fully printed, or have you added the birthday sentiment?

good luck using up the rest.

They come ready made Azimuth, very handy They're so old I wasn't sure whether they still did them but found Kalula( sponsor) have some if you want some. They come in different sentiments & different colours.

They're sticky backed so I just layer them on to some more cardstock to get the scalloped edge.

I had a thing about them two or three years ago when I first started card making, god knows why I had to have each one that was going !!!! I haven't used them for ages though, might carry on now that I've started
    Thanks for your comments

Hi, I hope it's ok for me to join in with this challenge.
I haven't made any cards for ages, but thought I would make a start on my christmas cards, hope this is ok for this challenge.
I used a pre-patterned card blank from papermania, a strip of green card, a strip of ribbon and an Autmn Leaves christmas stamp to make this card
A quick, easy and simple card to make (which is probably why I made 5 of them LOL)

what are those pre-printed cards like, Niki? when I saw some in a shop a while back they looked quite shiney, and perhaps a little thin, but yours looks like it might have a good bit of substance to it.

    lovely card, by the way!
