Reason: adding gsd file
I saw a lot of these in restaurants in Holland last year so thought I should try a CR version.
The front cut is for a napkin. You can put cutlery at the back.
Decent paper is good enough. The side flaps give extra strength. That is also the reason for the stick down flap on side 1.
You can cut out names on side 2 and use them as place holders.
Brill for BBQ's.
I've adapted Carla's butterfly card to become a napkin ring. I know she wouldn't mind and I would ask her permission, but sadly Carla is no longer with us.
I don't know the exact measurement of a napkin ring, but this will be easy to resize, just select it all, right click and in the settings window, change the height to what ever you want.
If you don't want to print the butterflies, select them and hit the delete key and don't forget to turn off the reg marks, you don't need them for a simple cut.
What can I say my challenge even inspired me to dust of Inkscape, it's a poinsettia using a Sarus flower ding and I've included a separate element so if you want to make the ring in white you can cut the flower a second time in red.
Just testing an idea. I like Tina's idea of a fancy edge and had a play with the edges I used for fancy edged cards and change my first file accordingly, if anyone want to use the base shape without the flower, just select the flowers and drag them away, then you will be left with the basic shape you can add your own designs to it they don't have to be welded, so shouldn't be a problem.
