I am sure Brian will confirm this/or not if I have misinterpreted it.
Yeah, your right.

Hi Brian, thank you for the confirmation. I think you have done a great job and it is very much appreciated. Recently, as you know, it has been so difficult to share our templates and you have kindly made this possible. Heaps of thanks.
I think it is going to take a little while for everyone to understand what to do but I am hoping there will be a formal, succinct message posted soon by our moderators that is crystal clear.

I've edited my first post to tidy it up, add usage instructions and to add a note about the converter being for use with v4.40 to save any confusion.

Thanks for clarifying Brian, its a fab bit of software, its just a shame the ladies with earlier versions still cannot share with silhouette owners.

You can print your GSD to a PDF, and than import it in Designmaster and save as a GRA.
In order for this to work, you need to choose File>output settings, and select Adobe PDF or cute PDF, put a mark at Print cutlines on the Print settings tab, click OK.
Now go to File>print, set copies to 1, and place a mark at page range allclick OK. Choose location and name (better have the same name as your GSD or you will be lost if you searching for it), Type has been filled in as PDF allready, click Save. Wait patiently till the PDF has been created. You can view your PDF in Acrobat reader, or import it in Designmaster and view it there.

If you want to convert GSDs to use with other software, there is a Tutorial in RUStuff, it involves downloading a free driver and the tutorial will tell you how to install the driver and use it convert your files.
Check it out and if you have any problems just give us a yell.

The question that keeps nagging me is wether the buy files from silhouette are also printable to PDF.....
-
I have just tried and it works. I was given an option to use graphics and that was fine. I used a file I had purchased from QK. It was of course being reimported into a Silhouette. Whether that makes a difference I know not.
