I thought I'd have a go at this month's challenge. Having been away from home for so long, this is my first opportunity to take part in one.
There are 2 offerings, both with pop-up edges. The baby one is very basic. The Christmas one has been done as a pop-up, pop-over, that's pop-over as in wrap, not as in pudding or tart, (tart as in cake).
I did it this way because the cut away lower edge won't be strong enough to support the finished card. Just cut a piece of suitable card to place the wrap over and glue in place. (Ignore the letter I which isn't stuck down properly, I only noticed it when the sun created the shadow from it.)
It also means you can use thicker embossed or glitter card as the base.
My niece is expecting her 2nd child in early November and I have designed this pram topper and mat in DM. Done in each colour as she doesn't know whether it's a boy or girl!
I used 160gsm card for this, cuttlebugged the top mat with swiss dots and very lightly chalked the dots. I was quite pleased with the results.
I have converted the gra file using the pdf method but haven't tried cutting the gsd file.
Hope it will be useful.
Nappy i did for my daughter's friend's Baby Shower, with the help from the very talented Tina from forever memories. i have inserted the wrong way round Baby Shower so when the nappy is made up that is at the front of card. Hope there is someone who can use it. Love Carol x
Sorry i forgot to put a picture on with template. Did not know wether Girl or Boy so did the inner in mint. x x
I designed this card for GS2 for his 2nd Birthday. I hope someone will find it useful. Its a paper piecing file so it has quite a few cutline colours. I left the name and his age in the file just incase anyone has a Callum who will be 2 years old but I have also made a happy birthday with mats and done 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th also on mats.
Forgot to say it is done in RM5.1 and font is Cooper Black.
At Marions suggestion, Here are the layering instructions (and thanks to Rosemary for reminding me to put them here with the file) :-
1. Black – The main Card Blank
2. Lime Green – Dashed for the fold and for the stitching up bears front.
3. Blue – The dark bits of his face
4. Red – The 2nd Layer of the front of the card
5. Brown – The Main Body of Teddy (You will need to set the Lime Green with this too for his stitches and draw over the ones for his mouth)
6. Yellow - for his pads and his muzzle
7. Darker Blue – for his eyes, brows & nose
8. Orange – For the base mat for your sentiment
9. Turquoise – First Layer of the bears ribbon bow and the letters on the sentiments
10. Dark Green – The top layer of the ribbon
11. Cerise – The whites of his eyes and his nose. (I actually used waste peeloffs for this bit)

Reason: added info and
Well a change is as good as a rest they say this one is for the children probably more than likely the boys.
Has little trains all the way round the front doors and inside one big one.
Also Jan has used her own embellishments for this, But I have tried my best to replicate and include in the template what she has used on the front. Comes with box template.
