where to buy leather for die cutting

Hello all... I REALLY need some help here! I want to buy a big shot, but for a specific purpose. My friend wants me to make her some large leather flowers to put on her daughters bedroom wall. So... I need to know firstly what dies I need (I've done some research, and think sizzix originals and thick cuts and bigz will do it) but most importantly, I have NO idea where to buy leather to use in the die cutter!
    All replies gratefully recieved!

there used to be a scrapstore in bristol, run by the council.. if its open to the public they might have lots of goodies in there...

we have one in yeovil, might be worth trying to find one..

or you could pop into those lovely ssofa shops and see if they have any samples that they don't need, and put some pennies to a charity for having them

It's also worth asking upholsters if they have any scraps and furniture shops for old sample books.
