Cuttlebug cards
Do many people use the cuttlebug? Does anyone do anything other than emboss the background papers.
Would love some new ideas. x

You can cut letters, stars, flowers, etc... you can also emboss and cut hearts, swirls, words, the possibilities are endless.....
on my gallery i've got cards that have tiny tags, flowers, stamps, etc...
check out the sponsors for cuttlebug dies and embossing folders, there are tons of things you can do with them.

I have the cricut for letters. I only really emboss with it- apart for the disney emboss and cut- looking for embossing ideas really- I don't think of it as a die cutting machine (know I should really lol but I spend far too much as it is without investing in alphas as well)as I don't use it for that

Wow, those embossed cards are beautiful. TFS Sues, will add that to my favourites.
I use my Cuttlebug for all the things previously mentioned, but have been using it with my Nestabilities to cut apertures in cards too. Nice to be able to have your aperture anywhere you like, or multiple apertures. Really into putting acetate on my cards at the moment, so like putting it behind the apertures.
I've also embossed with the free plastic embossing plates you get with the magazines (using the tan mat), they don't always work well, but have been using bits of card as thick shims!

They certainly do - that simple 'dotty' one is sooo effective (mind yo, I do love them all, but it's often the simpler ones that are the most useful, don't you find?)
Can't wait for our shops to stock them.
