Hi I Just Joined
Heard loads about this site.
Just got a Craft Robo and every time I ask my mate Google about anything, UKS comes up so I thought I should sign up.
Hope to learn a lot and eventually share something I know with you all.

Hi there.....I am newish. Recieved my robo at Christmas and after googling ended up here also. I have learnt lots. Have fun learning. Just read lots, and use the search section as lots of subjects are talked about over and over again. Registration Marks, Cut and Print, Inkscape, are just a couple of phrases that will come up often.

Always smile it makes them wonder what your up to!!
Hi Granny, I have had my robbie for about a year now but did not get along too well, however since I have joined uks I have been brave enough to use it more I am the proud owner of 2 very basic templates which I have shared here and yesterday I managed to draw a front door with panels and some fake leaded windows. My only trouble is I have company on the way for 10 days and I will probably forget how I done it all when I come back to play...lol

This site has been a great help to me. Any questions I have had, I looked in the tutorial section, or did a search, and found my answer. It's great!

One other thing. Put your credit card in a large container of water in the bottom of the freezer. This helps to control the urge to buy all the lovely stash that you will want to feed robo!
Welcome to the asylum.

Hi, welcome - I've been a roboholic since April. It will take over your life... but it is fun. honest.

Thank you all for your lovely welcome.
As a paper addict for a while now, the H word doesn't happen in my house and as for the credit card - it shivers in fear when I approach!
Steep learning curve with this bit of kit I'm finding so I'm sure I'll be pleading for help before long.
I have already printed out the FAQs sheet.
Thank you.

Hi Granny,
Im fairly new too - Im fighting with myself, I have some christmas money and Im thinking my life might not be complete without a craft robo - Im a scrapper and cardmaker in the main - I looked at the cricut in Hobbycraft the other day - but Im still thinking the robo might be the one for me - Any advice about what it can and cant do for me would be really welcome - I dont get much scrapping done these days as I spend most of my life reading things on here.
Ive found its not just craft stuff either - I have had to buy a breadmaker and my slowcooker (that I havent used in ages) is gently doing my tea after I read all the great bread and slowcooker recipes! UKS has quickly taken over my life <LOL>
Take care
Alison
