here is my first attempt. took me flippin ages. i decided to colour in first, then search for papers second...this was a very timely mistake.
really pleased with it but need to do loads more practise at watercolouring and shading.
can't figure how to do a link so going to upload into my gallery..i'm a techno dinosaur lol!
It is a lovely card donna I tend to colour in first then sort out papers after Except for the one I just put on further up and I inked the background!!
Here is a card I've made tonight for the young son of a colleague at work for his birthday next week. I coloured the image a while ago using watercolour pencils
thanks for your kind words ladies. peggie i am waiting for that stamp to come back in. ideal for boys cards.
my kids are also gonna have a go at the weekend. i'm off to hobbycraft to get them their own watercolour pen and let them loose. i'm sure it'll be a couple of hours of peace while they are crafting !

Hi Donna, where's the link or your gallery? I cannot see the pict...
You left a comment on one of my cards today, saying how good the shading was... mmm i have a confession, it is not 'shading' as such, Edwin has been cut out and then stuck with foam bits, so when I took the picture it looked like a shadow.... I wish I could do that kind of thing LOL
