Here is a doily I designed with a frame centre . Use a reasonably new cutting mat. Cut on cheep printer paper its ideal Blue blade thin media setting 29. a couple of bits did nt come out of mine but poked out eaily enough

Here is a quick one of three sorts of scalloped circles - the rounded one is more flower-like, with deeper scallops than some, the pointy one is more like pinking shears, and the last is a hybrid - pointy scallops!
All three in one GSD, and the inner circles can be deleted if you only want a solid circle rather than a frame.
Tried and Tested!
Pointy and Pinking from a frame in FramesandBordersII font (House of Lime)but autotraced so you don't need to have it installed
Scallop is own design.
As ever I now have to pop over to another machine to zip and upload!
When I started this one, I had the Hambly overlays in mind. I wanted something sort of similar, although obviously not transparent I have cut it, and rather like it
I think if I did it right I've included the optional center circle in the GSD so you can delete it if you want a solid frame. The GSD is sized for a 12x12 sheet of card, but you can size it down for A4, obviously. A tiny bit of tidying up is needed, esp. the right hand lowest arms of the flourish which don't always "fall" out (maybe a sharper blade or more force?)
From Bodoni ornaments, lower case s, with lots of rotating and some editing
I've included the waste frame - I have this idea that you could overlay it over a transparency sheet and paint thru it to get something that is a bit more like the Hably overlays but I haven't tried that yet! Hey, it is still quite early on a Bank Holiday so cut me some slack!!
MaryAnne gave me permission to post the file that I made from her JPEG. It should work for Wishblade users since I traced it using my Wishblade. thecountryrose

I have been fiddling with Inkscape, trying to see if I can learn how to use it by just playing. I wanted to make a scalloped shape, but came up with this shape instead.
I decided to see if it would cut and whether it would be at all useful.
It cuts really well, so I will share it with you and see what you think.
I know it is basic and simple, but I quite pleased, even though it was nothing like what I was trying to do - lol!

Reason: change screen shot
I'm been playing and came up with this. You know I love frames
Use them separatly or combine them. Choose how you want to cut them by deleting some of them if you want. I don't know how many different frames you can do by deleting and combining parts in the template but there are several.
They always fits in eachother irrespective of how you turn them around.
2 heart frames if anyone can make use of them. Designed in KNK Studio, converted to GSD via Inkscape. If anyone would like the KNK file please pm me.

Thought I would share these. They would look good as single mats for decoupage or layered up as per my example. I designed and cut my sample from DM but have also converted to a GSD. Very easy to resize to suit your needs.
