    I have spoken to Graophtec and it sounds like it is a problem witht he print head itself - that the tension has gone or possibly a solenoid spring.
    I need to package it up and return it to them and they will look at it. no-one was able to give me any clue as to cost of repair and even the cost of postage is going to be expensive. Needless to say it is out of warranty as it is 16 months old now.

    Having said that they are terrific machines and I don't intend to be without one!

    karen if it is accidental damage are you covered on your house ins? am sure they will sort you out tho as it is bad press and they have a very good rep
