Cheryl, I really like your angel ones - simple but effective - and I have that stamp! Can I "scraplift"? (Is there a word for the card equivalent?)
Help yourself
Thing I found hardest was making the 'Angel Hair' stick to the card without the tackiness coming through -- first couple of attempts fell off after a couple of days
just to let you all know the "first" handmade christmas card swap has just been added to the site... (i say first... as i think cardmaking is pretty darn popular at the moment...)
I have an idea what iam doing for Christmas cards just waiting on Holiday stamps from USA.
It will be a square card in red with scrapbook patt paper matting it.
a large circle in the middle in red then a slightly smaller circle in white
stamped with the new stamps & either a snowflake or sleigh in the centre.
Green & red tartan ribbons
i am totally lost on Christmas cards... all i have is a 6x6 Christmas paper Stack... white cards and Good Will LOL... i need to get some Christmas trees or something... anyone know where i could get a xmas tree stencil or something????

I normally stamp my images, and either colour in or emboss them, as I am a stamper at heart but this year I bought the HOTP card kit so I am making them first. If I run out then I will go back to stamping.
last year I had a DCWV Xmas 'stack' pad which I used to make lots of cards - nice red and green patterns - I mainly made a card a bit like one of Cal's earlier - I cut tall thin triangles for trees and topped them with big shiny brads
I don't have a scan of those, and I don't have any left, but I just found a spare of the other style I made last year which was a bit less traditional colour-wise (tree and Joy stamps were from a See Ds set, I think)
This year I have bought two lovely Inkadinkadoo stamps - Da Vinci Santa for the non religious side of the family, and Heavenly Peace for the churchgoers (pics attached)
Probably won't start making them until November though, I don't have too many to do (famous last words!)
