It might be worth trying DIY shops like B&Q, Focus, etc because they all sell things like this for storing tools and smaller items like nails and screws

tried them Natalie - and Homebase there are units with big deep drawers, or units with teeny tiny drawers, but nothing in between!

Flo, what about the metal tool caddy's, for spanners etc. Machine Mart sell them, they're usually red in colour and start off with a few drawers and go right up to ones with wheels on. You could always alter it, if you didn't like the colour! They are quite expensive, but I'm sure if you searched, you could get one cheaper. I've attached a piccy of one. This one has nine drawers and is about £70. HTH

Sarah - not sure if they still have them but our Tesco did have metal filing cabinets with about 12 narrow drawers. I think they were about £30...

sarah I had the same problem Staples do a lovely metal small drawer unit but it was mega expensive and I could not justify the cost. In the end I settled for a blue and grey plastic drawer unit that they do. Has five drawers, 5.5cm deep x 26cm wide x 30cm long and it was £16. That was really the best thing I could find myself, drawer allows two layer of mounted stamps (just!)

Hope that helps - good luck on your hunt, you will have to let us know the outcome!

keep me posted on what you find. I have some wooden units from Homebase or B&Q. they vary in width, which is good. I need more, though....

I also have the 10 drawer metal Bisley filing cabinet - soon to get another! They are great though as stamps are only one deep and each drawer is catagorised so it's easy to find releveant stamp.

the drawers on all of those look a little deep really - ideally I'd like to store my stamps one-up and ink pads 2-up tops

I want what Lynne has! 2 or 3 of them and I'd be well sorted.

boo hoo, why did Ikea have to stop making them?!
