    Prima flowers

I was getting some red primas out last night for a LO and of course they were all at the bottom of the jar and I had to empty it there were loads of them that were missing bits or just generally very tatty and I would never use them on a LO so I spent hours sorting them out (sad I know ) and now have quite a large pile of primas that are no use at all it only seems to be the one bottle although I havent checked all my bottles I'm not that bad. So has anyone else found that the small primas damage very easily or am I just heavy handed

    Hiya,

I have some of the burgundy small primas, and I think they do get quite a bit squashed, and even when you try to tip them out of the bottle, sometimes they just won't budge! I get my tweezers and try and sift them out using that. On one of the medium primas, I found that the edge of the petal looked like it had actually been cut off! Probably will find the odd few quite squashed - will have to use them on a squashy LO!

I have found my small ones really delicate too - Quite a few squashed (and kind of limp!) and damaged... Hmm maybe they wouldn't look so bad floating in DG???

i have had that to...the small ones seem very fragile and what i tend to do with the damaged ones are overlap them with good ones so you cant see the bit that is damaged or missing...yhe i know i am really tight hahaha

If it is more than normal you should complain to them direct - most suppliers are quite good when it comes to customer service, or so I have heard.

I either overlap the damaged ones or use them on alterred items as they tend to get battered there anyways......
