    Another daft question

I see someone else posted a message today that they felt was embarrassing to ask......so I'll add to it with another.
What is the difference between papers and cardstock - because several times I've looked on Ebay for cardstock but a lot of what is listed under 'cardstock' appears to be papers.
What do people use to mat their photos - is it paper or cardstock - and if it's cardstock do you buy it in 12 x 12 size and cut it down to size, or buy it in the smaller A4/A5 sizes? It's just that a lot of the smaller size stuff seems more geared up to cardmakers and therefore less likely to be acidfree maybe?

Cardstock is usually alot thicker than paper.
I tend to use Bazzill Cardstock more than anything else.
You can mat you pictures on paper if you like but i always use cardtock and generally always buy 12x12 and cut it down.

*holds head in shame* I spent ages doing a LO way back in the day when I was new to all of this.... and I did stick my photo down wrong... upside down I blame being harrassed by a mocking DH and a hyper toddler

Yep, it's either the husband or the kids fault, every time, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
