Have to admit I was a bit disapointed at the Scrapbook shop in Downtown Disney. Lots of kits (mainly stickers) good for if you are new to scrapbooking. It also did not stock the whole range of kits and albums that the parks do, so it's worth while keeping a eye out in other disney locations. Best kits were actually at my hotel! in All Stars Movies ! Got a loverly 12x12 leather embossed album for £7 yes £7 It's beautiful and that was just from the big shop on the left of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. Aslo it's nice to be able to buy an album from Disney with the year on Anyone got the 2006 one ?
Another nice touch about the Downtown Disney shop is that is the only place on site where you can get a disney postmark for your postcards

    Hello folks
Have booked (yay!). I am staying at Lake Buena Vista, pretty close to downtown Disney. Can anyone tell me which is the nearest large store (esp Michaels as I want Sizzix dies)?

OH says half a day shopping maximum so minimal driving time is a must!!!

There is a Michaels at The Loop which isn't too far from Disney, and there is a Joann's on the 192, both are worth visiting. If you are going to the Florida Mall, there is a scrapbooking store right next door, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip for it.

    Bookmarking as going in Sept.

Last time we went I saw a sign for a shop on the road to Daytonna but too late to pull off, so kept a look out on the way back and found it. It was a little way of the main route but a lovely shop and there was another store a couple of doors away that sold loads of other stuff as well as crafts. Hubby and son were sick of waiting by then so just grabbed a few things. I can't remember the name of them, might see if I can dig out an old visa bills for details.

Scrapbook Boutique at Florida Mall is no longer there. I was in Orlando in March and went looking for it and its closed down with no forwarding address. I have looked for the smaller specialist shops in Orlando on a couple of occasions and haven't found any yet. But Walmart and Target have a good selection of scrapbooking stuff as well as the usual suspects.
