Where can I get a mini sewing machine ....

    for not too many pounds??

Have seen stitching on Cheryl's layout in Scrapbook Inspirations and would like to have a go!

My mum has a bit expensive all singing all dancing (LOL) sewing machine but think she would be a bit upset if I stole it!!

If it is one of those dreadful mini £9.99 ones I would save your money and buy a slightly bigger one, from what I can gather there have been some really good threads on here about sewing machines just recently, I bought one last year, one of the mini ones, and it sucks! It chews up the papers, rips them apart, doesn't sew evenly and basically is cr*p! I am sure it is much better to save a little together and get a better one, also I am sure I read that a lot of the girls recommended re-conditioned ones from sewing shops...good luck with your search Hun, they are def worth investing in Otherwise how about trying to woo your mum and have a spare set of needles just for your own use with the papers

Definately try doing a search of the forum, there are at least a couple of threads about the problems people have had with these mini machines.

I have one for about £20 - mini thing with bobbin and over stich, no great mystery to it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and it is so cute and portable..... but it ain't no good for big 12x12s i use it for mini books and embellies. x x x (and regular fabric sewing too but it is soooooo long since i did anything other than scrap!!)

I agree with Anita. I bought one of the mini ones for approx £10..it is a complete waste of space........it needs to go in the bin.
Save and get a better one.
